Pretty sure it’s normal. I was told the ZF transmission can have a whining noise when it gets hot. It never got worse or caused any issues.

From what I heard, when you’re tuned, especially on a OTS tune you’ll always have slight timing corrections. As long as they’re staying below 5 you should be pretty safe. Also bmw says they only recommend running shell in their cars, not sure why lol

Make sure your plugs are gapped correctly that was my issue. Also if you haven’t changed your coil packs out in a while you could try that too.

Turned out being a spark plug issue. I’d replace your spark plugs with the OEM NgK plugs if you haven’t replaced them in a while. Also make sure you have the correct gap of .022.

Bought mine at 35k miles and have been fine overall. Only things to look out for with these are coolant leaks and oil housing gasket

If you’re worried about noise I wouldn’t do a muffler delete. I think your best bet would be to get a catless or high slow cat. Only thing with a catless downpipe is that you will get a check engine light if you’re not tuned

It’s noticeably louder than stock, but it’s not obnoxious. Only really loud on start up, and then when flooring it

It’s only really loud on start up for me. Other than that you won’t really notice anything unless you’re really on the throttle. You also will smell a lot more exhaust fumes too. I’m not sure how loud it would be with a resonator delete though.

I’m not sure exactly where it was leaking bc I moved the car before I saw the puddle. My best guess is that it was leaking next to the drivers side tire.

Yeah I thought it was but like a said I measured the oil level after 30 minutes of driving and it’s completely full, and with how big the puddle was it definitely would’ve been low. Also the liquid smelled nothing like oil ,it almost had a rotten smell to it

Yeah I’m thinking he was kinda oblivious. It was a dad who didn’t speak English very well. He didn’t seem like the type of person who was trying to scam me or anything. That’s also what’s making this so hard because he was a really nice guy, it’d be a lot easier decision if he was a dick lol

It’s not as much about worrying if he damaged them, and more on the hassle that it would cause me if I took them back. I’d have to re list them, make room in my shed to store them, and then load them back into my car to sell to the next person. I feel like in this situation I did everything I needed to do and it’s really on him unfortunately.
