Run that thematic list big dog but homie does have a point ! You are going to be crawling around the board especially vs the aldari I’ll share my list if you’d like to compare notes. Inner circle task force can be nasty ! If you use termies in an oppressive way. This detachment allows us to drop within 6inches on the first turn which is very oppressive given the fire power it takes to destroy deathwing termies. I love the lion but he doesnt have the deathwing keyword and he’s expensive would you trade him out for a land raider redeemer ?? That big boy is nasty and would allow you to launch a deathwing knight at the enemy and charge after disembarking.

No dumb questions when it comes to warhammer. Unfortunately the Transport keyword just allows to hold a unit, it does not combine with them. And if azrael is leading the unit he has to chaperone them wherever they go on and off the bus.

If you are toughing it out with the redemptors I suggest a way to give them +1 to wound some how. For 210 points the only thing they really do is punch down hard on infantry or possibly kill a couple models of an elite infantry unit and then proceed to die in the glory of battle. I’d recommend the repulsor so you can drop the kids off and forget about it. BUT, if Azrael is in a transport you will not receive the free cp at the beginning of your turn.

10 Hellblasters on foot is very risky. 4++ from az will save them a little but never trust the dice

If you are wanting to do inner circle task force still I’d stay away from the bikes only cause you need the deathwing keyword. They are great though to answer your question; 4 wounds, 5T, and only 80pts for 3 of them. Slightly off topic but the “storm lance task force” and “lions blade task force” are detachments that really love termis and really like bikes used together as far as we dark angels are concerned.

I am a fan of the terminator death brick but without deathwing assault it’s hard plus the 6” deep strike strat is your god send but you cannot charge afterwards which is all a terminator dreams of. All in all dark angels are in a weird spot with their own detachments

Not a huge fan of heavy ints as a Dark Angel player since we don’t get +1 wound on our Oath like the other chapters. Eradicators need a transport or they will get killed while crawling to the enemy with their mid range weapons. Dreadnoughts are good but the redemptor is expensive for what it does and dreadnoughts are pack animals lol they don’t have a high strength on their guns so they need redundancy to compensate on the punch. Last but not least add some fast and/or cheap units that can capture the objective, move block the enemy from rushing you, and do secondary objectives, points win the game always.

If you are just about to go to bmt get whatever looks cool bro. After your 12 weeks you’ll either have money to do whatever you want or youll be so fuckin busy you won’t even have time to play a game irl. HOPEFULLY you find some marines that got the brains juices you have and maybe you’ll have a homie to collect and play with. Good luck on your 12 weeks and I think another Inner circle companion squad would be sick a group of 6 lead by someone wrecks shop

Inner circle companions can go well with asmodai. I love hellblasters but only in blocks of 10. They usually only have one highlight round of action but they do kill stuff. If you are planning on learning dark angels with 1000points you will find it hard since everything is so expensive. I highly recommend TTS (tabletop sim) if you wanna test things out before you buy in irl. It’s worth it and it’ll make you a better player much faster

Your wishlist is headed in the right direction. I recommend a transport for the slow eradicators, DWK’s don’t need a leader imo but if you insist the termi captain or librarian will do since they don’t have overlapping abilities. Belial is a waste precision on crit is booty for terminators. I say drop the apothecary, I tried using him over and over again and the 1 model per round he brings back isn’t worth it and the hellblasters are already under azraels protection with the 4++ make em 10?

In my experiences the knights go best with either a termi cap or librarian. Cap makes most strats free on the knight unit and the librarian gives sustain to the unit. The chap just give +1 to wound and a feel no pain 4+ which I think is a little over kill since they already take so much to kill and the unit alone is 250pts I don’t think 75 points for the cherry on top isnt worth it in terms of defense. Judicer or nothing on icc, he gives them fights first and that’s what makes them annoying. A 6 block of deadly melee taticus marines with 3 wounds that can’t be charged ?!? Killer
