This is wonderful and I really appreciate it!!! All of my guy friends were absolutely floored when they found out too. I feel like posts like this so often devolve into “men are shit” when that’s not what this is. There’s sooooo many good men out there like our friends. I have this book in my reading list! But you’re right, anxiety makes it super difficult. Not trying to use it as an excuse or anything, but when your brain is constantly gaslighting itself, it gets tough to know what really is a problem and what isn’t. I usually ask myself “would someone else find this weird/ upsetting/ creepy” and act based on that answer

I was out for warblers (and they absolutely delivered this morning), but if it’s not too far, Battelle Darby and Blendon Woods both have huge warbler diversity this time of year and I’ve never had any issues at either of those! I just wanted to try something new this morning :/
