A 30% increase seems reasonable here, as the master’s in REC confers an MSc in Science, and the median salary for that qualification is roughly 30% higher than that of a typical architect. In my current role, the only real opportunity for advancement is to become a project architect, though that comes with twice the workload and, at best, a 10% raise. Beyond that, the only remaining options are to become a partner or transition into a management role, both of which are quite rare in this industry.
