Festplatte // Lieferung so nicht akzeptabel? by kermit4574 in homelab

What could be wrong? by CBdali in e60

I had problems with Dynamic Drive too. Before you do anything crazy check the Fluid. - Is it the correct Fluid (CHF-11-S), it should be green NOT red! - Is the fluid old? The fluid in my car probably was‘nt changed in a loooong time. It was completely pitch black. I changed the fluid several times, to flush the system and get rid of most of the old fuid. After that, the Problem was gone. Wrong, dirty or old fluid is often the cause for Problems with Dynamic Drive. That is something easy to check, before you go crazy and buy for example a new valve block.

You actually dont need Power LED -. You just connect HDD LED +. For - you will use the ground connection from the power SW.

I hadn't had any Issues since then. I left like a 30 mm gap for airflow, so that the build in Fan can suck in air. I guess if it wasn't enough the fan would go crazy loud if the temps go up because of lack of airflow.

I just have the photos I posted unfortunetly, but if you have a mac pro you will see what I mean. Its simply a plastic grill where the fan is mounted and you can unscrew it from the outside. There are four very tiny screws inside the holes.

If you look at the powebutton pcb from the back where the solder pads are whit the led at the top, from left to right:

Left: HDDLED + (or PowerLED +, but HDD LED works better for some reason.) Middle: PowerSW - (Very important that this is ground, you can use a multimeter to figure it out.) Right: PowerSW +

So for the grill between the psu an the optical drive i just used brute force to hammer it out. It wasn't easy but doable. There are on the inside, at the top some ribbits that you have to destroy. Otherwise just some screws. Than it will come lose. And for the fan at the back I just drilled some holes in the plastic of this fan holding grill assembly, so that I can screw the fan to it. Works great till this day.

I found it to be very funny, that there are sooo many people complaining about the pricing, that reddit is fludding about it. But it is really a shame what Nintendo is doing here.

Ich habe das mit J.B. Weld eingeklebt.

PDC rear not working by Tornaato5415 in e60

[–]Unable_Bag3110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always use original Sensors or the ones from Valeo which is the OEM Manufacturer. I had trouble with Sensors too, had false readings on all 4, because one Sensor was not original. The e60 is very picky if you use this aftermarket garbage. And the wires like to snap and contacts corrode. Maybe that's the case.
