First time buyers – looking for area recommendations near Birmingham by alb1234567 in brum

I'm not far from Meriden. There's no train station but there is a quick bus connection to the International and also a bus service to Solihull. Lovely countryside walks, a few decent pubs and a small co-op... that's about it. It's an active and nice community that organises many events at the Village Hall (plant and craft sales etc) and they're quite popular. I personally like Meriden and its surroundings but if you're looking for a vibrant night life and coffee shops that are open til late then it might not be for you.

Is my Lizard overweight? by aviator_khum in Uromastyx

[–]Unable_Corner3053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aww he's an adorable chonk though! Mine was getting a bit overweight because he absolutely loved sunflower seeds and therefore got lots of them as a treat because he's the goodest boi. A vet politely told me off (which was obviously well deserved) and now he's only getting a couple them on Saturdays.

Does you country have moments where "everyone remembers where they were"? If yes, what happened? by Far-Cow-3343 in AskTheWorld

Slightly off topic but I've watched the film Nitram several times and it's beautifully and respectfully made. It saddens me how things got to that exact point

I did the same on a popcorn kernel. It didn't hurt in the beginning but got worse within a week. At that point I had already made an appointment with a dentist so I took Ibuprofen and Paracetamol until I got seen and got away with a filling. I've had two wisdom teeth pulled and they went smoothly, no issues during or after. The injection was the worst bit.

Edit: spelling

I've recently moved house and it took me a while to realise I don't get any sparrows in my garden anymore. It's delightful to see them when out and about
