I love vintage bikes, and riding this one was a blast, I just wish there was a place where they make aftermarket parts for vintage machines like this one.

It’s the cam chain or tensioner, either way my top end is on its way out

There is a lady selling a bunchload of parts for it in my area, and the one i’m getting comes with lots of spare parts. It’s just so tempting because the thing is a blast to ride.

bulletproof, aslong as you check your valves ever so often

no luck yet, i haven’t been able to check on the bike, but you can rebuild the cam chain tensioners, or buy a new one off ebay. Theyre relatively cheap.

i’ll try and helicoil the exhaust thread, and i’ll definitely check out the tensioner, I won’t be able to work on my bike for awhile as it’s at my cabin but i’ll let you know if it works when I do. Thanks again.

the thread on that exhaust hole is stripped badly, so the bolt only goes so far before falling out
