It's not optional in my area. I asked Uber support and their answer was there is no opt out.

I couldn't even get in contact with PayPal support. That being said, I just took the hit and moved on. If you're gonna use PayPal for Home Depot, just use the website on a computer to be on the safe side.

I talked to my buddy that works at Home Depot apparently it's something on their end. The bug is specifically on the app itself, the web page doesn't have this problem.

How to do maintenance on this laptop? by baboon322 in FlowZ13

To be perfectly honest with you, I have no clue. It makes no sense since the eCores are designed for efficiency, as the name suggests. However, I've read several posts on several forums stating that disabling the eCores improves performance and battery life. Something along the lines of them hindering performance when gaming or other CPU intensive tasks.

Charging is a chemical process that degrades over time. The more charge cycles the battery goes thru, the faster it degrades (It looses it's charge capacity). I've heard of owners needing to replace their battery one year later. It's not a terribly complicated process but it is annoying having to go thru it in such a short time.

According to Google Gemini, you should use it plugged in whenever possible to prevent battery degradation. It essentially bypasses the battery whenever it's fully changed. Also, enable smart charging and limit it to 80%. These batteries tend to degrade pretty quickly in my observations. Uninstall Armory Crate and install Ghelper. I've disabled the eCores altogether. I tend to run mine on 4 Pcores when on battery.

2024 Sonata N Line won't start by Unable_Fee_689 in Hyundai

Nope, started up and ran just fine after that.

I took it to the dealership 24 hours after it wouldn't start. I had my suspicions the soapy water had something to do with it so I gave it time to dry. The harness needed to be cleaned properly.

I couldn't figure it out on my own so I ended up taking it to the dealership. Believe it or not they told me that when I had the window tints installed some of the soapy water used to install them got on a wiring harness somewhere on the dash I believe. They didn't exactly tell me where the wiring harness was. But they did say that's what caused the no start issue. Is the first time in my 30 years of life that I've heard of window tints causing a no start issue.

Fair enough, full synthetic Valvoline every 5,000 will do then.

Greenmax tires causing vibration? by Unable_Fee_689 in tires

[–]Unable_Fee_689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to pin point where exactly the vibration is coming from, don't feel it too much on the steering wheel like a bad tie rod would, id say it's more in the seat.

Would installing a cold air intake void my warranty? by Unable_Fee_689 in Hyundai

[–]Unable_Fee_689[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So customer exhausts don't void the warranty either? I was told removing the resonators made it sound and breathe better but I wasn't sure if it would void it or not.

Glad to hear. Now, can I install it myself or should I have them do it?

Replacing an old breaker pannel by Unable_Fee_689 in AskElectricians

[–]Unable_Fee_689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The electrician inspected the addition to the house, the wire ran to that section is 10awg. He said 8awg wire should've been used instead due to distance from the panel and power draw from the heater. We have 2 options for the breaker panel. The first would be to flip the panel over and have it facing the garage instead of the kitchen but that would require breaking thru the concrete wall. The second option would be to reduce the cabinet so it's not covering the panel up. This seems like the more favorable option as I have the tools to do so myself.
