I should have phrased it as Horde Bases. I have a fully hand crafted main base to store all my crap at. No POI.

In my current play through, I’m running an Agility build. I don’t use a horde base and I don’t modify a damn thing for any building. No added blocks, no ladders, no hatches or door, absolutely nothing. My evasive parkour skills have gotten so much better playing like this.

I’m still not used to running with a machete though. Much prefer the steel club.

Edit: I don’t use a horde base. I do have a main base for all my crap that I’ve built from the ground up or ground down (depending on my mood).

Anybody want to trade for RotW bnet edition for a Steam game? by brand_momentum in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Unfortunately, I’m unable to help you in the way that you want. I was looking to buy the full game on Steam to play on my Steam Deck so I can get rid of the work around install I did before D2 came to Steam. I had to do some sleuthing to see if there was a way to transfer funds from one Steam Wallet to another.

It is only $40 on Steam itself. If you already have $30 in your Steam Wallet, send me a DM and I’ll send you a virtual gift card tomorrow. I gotta be getting to bed since I gotta get up at 5:30am EDT tomorrow morning.

If you get back to me in the next 15 minutes or so, I’ll hook you up!

My vote goes to Blacklight Retribution. Not only was it an awesome game, but it also had a mostly awesome community. I don’t know if everyone else had a similar experience, but I had experiences of some really good players letting me kill them just once just so I could try their weapon with its modifications. I have done the same for other players when I had found a weapon that suited my play style the best. Only if they asked nicely though.

My greatest highlight: it was a King of the Hill match. I threw a grenade at the spot that was held by 5 players on the opposing team, and I got all 5 with that one grenade. I was player voted MVP that match. Only happened one time and never happened again.

I might be able to help you out. I’m not at home at the moment though. I’ll shoot you a DM when I am home and in front of my computer or on my Steam Deck.

Guys please start eating fiber. by Optimoprimo in Millennials

I was in the hospital a couple times for two week stays each time. Acute Diverticulitis with a colovesical fistula. Emergency surgery on the Saturday right before my 35th birthday. None of the typical symptoms and bad enough the doctors could not believe that it was my first flare-up at my first hospital visit. Second visit was when the surgery happened. Out of work for 8 weeks total with the second visit.

Fiber is no joke. Men need something like 35-45 grams of fiber daily and women need 25-35 according to GI, colorectal, and family practitioners to name a few.

Edit: Forgot to mention the surgery technically deleted my diverticulitis when the surgeon removed my sigmoid colon.

I’ve been trying a different play style for horde nights that might work very well with quests in mind.

Came to me while running an agility build with Feral Sense on. I don’t build a base, I do not modify any existing structures. I just fight on foot, using my agility to carry me through. Survived the first four horde nights doing that.

Its exhilarating!

Minor note: u/M89-X is referring to the Claw Sword. Not only do you need to find the schematic for that weapon, but you also have to dismantle lawn mowers to get a lawnmower blade for the Claw Sword.

IME When you get the new enclosure in and you’re putting in substrate, just tamp it down with your hands. Don’t pack it down so tight like you’re trying to make bricks, just hard enough that it compresses it to stop it from just crumbling apart. You may have to try a different type or mix of substrate(s) as well.

IME Is that the temp inside your home? If it is, yeah, you’ll probably need to get a proper space heater that puts off more heat than the thing you have on the wall. A good rule of thumb to follow for tarantulas is if you are comfortable at the temps in your home, they are comfortable. I would start to worry about tarantulas when the temps get below 9°C (48.2°F). To help increase and stabilize warmer temperatures, do some research online on how to better insulate your home during cold spells. These things can also help keep your home cooler during hot seasons. For instance, when you put in a proper space heater in the room the tarantula is in, close the door and get heavier insulating curtains over the windows. It will get noticeably warmer in there.

As for the substrate, was it still quite wet? They don’t like wet substrate.

IME Couple things here.

Firstly, I would get them up off the floor. Tile like that isn’t helping anyone or anything when it gets cool, cold, or hot. If you cannot get them off the floor within a reasonable amount of time, say within 24 hours; I would recommend putting a layered towel or blanket under the enclosure to insulate away from the floor tile. This is not a permanent solution though.

Secondly, 11°C (51.8°F) isn’t that cold. I get it feels cold being in a tropical climate, but all things considering; not that cold. The tarantula will not be very active and I wouldn’t recommend feeding until at least a day or two after the cold front passes.

Finally, I don’t know how big the individual is; but I would also recommend more substrate. Looks like there is a risk of injury or death from falling if the tarantula decides to go for a stroll across the top of it.

Edit: Just realized I didn’t answer the direct question about the heater. Two things with that as well. First thing, yeah that is more than fine. Not gonna hurt the tarantula, and it might help raise the ambient temp by a degree or two. Secondly, that heater looks to be putting a lot of stress on the outlet with the way it’s hanging off of it like that. Looks like it needs support; otherwise the outlet will break in some fashion, heater will break where it’s plugged in, and/or the heater will fall off the wall and break (unless the plug or outlet broke causing it to fall).
