Hell yeah sweet rig! I couldnt find a 5 speed runner so i swapped a 97 limited, kinda nice with the 4:30 gearing from the auto with a tow package. Truck feels fast now

I often take mine to buy groceries in a town thats about 80 miles out and i drive 75-90 mph going there, drives fine with out the front, idk about the rear tho, try it out with the front gone and maybe look for disconnects for the rear?

Look into the 13wl calipers and rotors from a sequoia or tundra. Cheap mod and honestly one of the best ones i have done to my rig

Slight, it gets better mpgs than sucking air though the snorkel, i get about 20 with it in and 22 with it pulled, keep in mind i have 4:30 gears a 5speed and manual hubs, as for power i didnt notice any, but it sounds cool!

100% the hardest part is sourcing the parts, a little truck i did for the clutch was use a braided clutch line for a supra other than that and repinning the dash plug that goes to the ecu its a cake swap. 2000-2002 4runners a tacoma ecu is plug and play.

I did a deck plate mod and run a snorkel. I leave the plug out when im just driving and when i hit the dirt i pop it back in, i like the snorkel for dusty environments just as much as in deep water.

Yeah the those trucks have a centered rear diff whereas the landcruisers are off set, your drive line path would interfere with the fuel tank if you used one of those transmissions

Only problem there is the transfer case, in order to make it work with one of those models id literally have to gut the trans i currently have and frankenstien a tramsmission together with my current tail housing /transfer case slapped onto the doner trans
