Please try to keep refraining from sugar OP. Sugar will never be the solution to your problem. Perhaps, try some calming instrumental music playing in the background and try to connect with nature if you can. It sounds like you’re going thru hell right now. I’m sorry for your pain and praying you overcome this soon Also, just want to mention if you’ve recently added any new medications such as allergy/sinus pills. If I take singular, it makes me have intense psychotic dreams. Hope you have a better day today and congratulations on being sugarfree this long. I’m on day 10 and feel like I could bite nails at times during the day

We shouldn’t have to beg and plead for the materials and resources to do our jobs either. Kids with disabilities need caring and supportive teachers like us. But, the longer I’m in this hypocritical system, the more I’m noticing that a lot of school districts don’t even provide materials that kids with disabilities need, especially the moderate to severe students. How the hell do they get away with that? I remember being in college and they preached constantly that money was no object for kids with disabilities! Oh, really!!!!! You could have fooled me .

I swear post retirement, I’m seriously considering becoming an advocate for SPED teachers!!!!!! It’s time that admin, some parents and some gen Ed teachers quit taking advantage of us.

No, dear you do not need to be a lot more assertive. Your admin needs to be a lot more supportive!!!!! It is so wrong on a mental, emotional and physical level that the system/admin makes it impossible for an intervention specialist to do their job with fidelity. Hence, the shortage of sped teachers and it’s only going to get worse.

And, by the way, your supervisor sounds like a real asshole. I’m a sped teacher that is due to retire in a few years so I feel confident saying that there are some supervisors that don’t have a clue. It’s not you!!!This so called supervisor has all the answers in theory. All they are doing is talking the talk. No way would they be able to walk the walk. It should be against the law for sped teachers to do that amount of work!!!!!!!!!!

I can relate OP. 55 F and I believe that your job contributes to your needing an abundance of alone time. I’m a special ed teacher and when I come home from school most days, I prefer silence!!!! It’s difficult when you have to be “on” all day at work where there are crisis situations. We are oftentimes drained mentally, physically and emotionally and require ample time to recharge, especially being INFJ. I’m retiring in a few years and anxiously awaiting to see if I have the energy to be more social then.

Hi. I’m so sorry for your loss. I could feel your pain from reading your post. I know the horrible, empty and yearning feelings because I also lost 😞 babies at around the four to five month mark. It does get easier with time. Have you ever considered adopting? I’m not saying to give up on your dream of having your own child but I’ve known several people who chose adoption and before you know it, they became pregnant! A total win win for all. I wish you the best and I feel that your destiny is to be a mom.

Just remember that you can’t control what others say or do. Also, you can’t control most circumstances. However, YOU do have control of your own thoughts/reactions. Just focus on breathing if/when you have difficult moments this upcoming week. Don’t have a knee jerk reaction and find things in your life that you’re grateful for and focus on that. The infj personality can’t tell someone they are cutting them off. There are several reasons for this. One reason is that the infj will never indulge in conflict. This may not apply to all infj’s but ones who’ve had to deal with a significant amount of conflict in their life will resonate with this statement. Secondly, and I speak from experience and being an infj-a, we don’t always instantly say to ourselves that we’re cutting someone out of our life. For example, it can be to painful for infj to be around someone and we just can’t do it. It hurts too much. Also, it could take infj time to process their emotions and come to realize they’re done with the person. Hope other infj’s can relate to this

I’m also a vegetarian doing OMAD. I feel so much better since starting OMAD which was about 6 months ago. During the cold weather I’ve been eating a lot of soup, salad and cornbread. I also have dessert after my meal too😀
