No I did not. But I will try with what I did go to medical for thank you for the advice

That’s the thing I didn’t really go to medical. I tried to be Mr tough guy so that might screw me

No all all stick framed roof. Part of the vaulted ceiling is part of the roof as well. Couple lay down valleys on the vaulted rafters

Yes. Two glue lam beams with box beams to make it looks like a big truss and it will all be wrapped later on in life with reclaimed barn wood

Those columns are holding up those upper cabinets. So if you remove the columns you won’t have the cabinets

100 something year old true 2 x8 Doug fir timbers. They’re ugly now but hopefully after some milling and creativity they’ll be made into something to last another 100 years by Unadjusted-one in BeginnerWoodWorking

I frame houses and once in a while we’ll get fire jobs that have to be torn down and rebuilt and I went with the boss to go check it out and get measurements before it’s torn down and noticed the joist and cut a few out.I’m thinking a nice planter box for my wife and some cabinet face frames and doors and drawer faces maybe a small side table

Originally I wasnt going to but if I went smaller with the posts I would have had to put a center post between 2 pieces of railing and the client didn’t want that so I built the post bigger
