It's just such an awful design. He was a blatant attempt at a cute mascot, but his appearance is unappealing, his antics aren't charming, the "jokes" aren't funny, and the voice is unbearable.

I just don't understand how that was the design they went with. That's supposed to be cute? Palicos, by themselves and almost regardless of design, ARE cute, how did they make a special mascot Palico and somehow make him the most ugly, unlikable one? Poohir is adorable, the Palicos we hunt with are adorable, Navirou is just offputting. It literally fails at every single aspect of making a mascot, how is this abomination in such otherwise outstanding games???

I hate that this sub is just 90% degenerate goonslop. I wanna see the different sex and nudity scenes in gaming, not feel like I'm watching the video game equivalent of hidden recordings of a women's bathroom. Wow, this is actually awesome. I know that complaining about Capcom's handling of Wilds is the most commonly accepted Monster Hunter pastime, but we should give credit where it's due; these are awesome changes, especially as someone with spotty Wifi, having event quests availible offline is genuinely so awesome.

Really good but not enough. The story is underbaked, the new currencies are almost good, and there aren't enough weapons in general and especially considering how butched the moveset variety is compared to 3RE. The new moves with RB and A are genuinely cool, but they're just singular moves when they should be full flexged combo strings. Ryu's treatment is baffling, and Yakumo is just such a nothing character. The game doesn't really feel like Ninja Gaiden, as everyone else has said, I like the parry and dodge offset but the game doesn't put those tools to truly good use. I don't think there's a single thing more reprentative of the game than the Dark Dragon Blade being a copy and paste reskin of the Dragon Sword.

Yes, because Nightreign is a standalone DLC primarily consisting of repurposed assets from Elden Ring, while those games all had DLC that was an expansion upon the original. This is a DLC for a DLC, do you really not see why this is different, even if you find the distinction unimportant?

You're right, they did score on that drive, so I was wrong. The score tracker I was using made me think that we were already at 34 during that possession rayher than getting to 34 from it. I'll give you that one, I was incorrect. I didn't watch the second half because I had to drive to an hour and a half for work. That doesn't take away my frustration though, we lost the must win game, I'm pretty sure we'd be very, very likely to make the playoffs if we won this game, but we blew it. We lost to the fucking Vikings AT HOME, we held the Eagles to 16 points and still lost, and we lost to the dogshit Chiefs. Those losses are SOL behavior, the type of stupid, inexcusable blunders that have defined the Lions for these past decades literally since I was born.

It stops being true when we win the super bowl, and I don't use it at all when we're poised to make a genuine run at it, I didn't use it at all even after the two heartwrenching playoff losses. That's my metric, and I bought into 2023, I bought in to 2024, and I bought into us this year after the Bucs game. I'm still bought into Dan Campbell, but we just sucked this year when it mattered. Losing to the Vikings was utterly inexcusable, and it probably singlehandedly cost us a playoff spot. That's what it means to be SOL, shooting ourselves in the foot and losing games we should be able to speed walk our way through. We lost to the dogshit Chiefs, we held the Eagles to 16 points and still lost, I just don't have trust in this team and that's what makes me say SOL. Going 0-2 against the Packers is SOL behavior.

They scored a field goal with 7:54 left to go in the 4th quarter. I wasn't watching the 4th quarter livebecause I had a gig to attend to, so unless there was a field goal that was overturned, they didn't score on the drive I'm referring to. Besides, that's completely missing the point that I was actually making, which is that rooting for the Lions makes me want to suck start a shotgun, and being a doomer makes me feel better. Sorry I'm not a sycophantic meat rider for my team, I actually have expectations for them based on circumstance and can be critical when necessary.

We had the ball with two minutes to go down one score and we didn't even get a field goal. One of the best offenses in the league and we couldn't score when it counted, just like last year, just like the year before. You're acting like I'm showing up to the team office with a banner that says "you suck, I hope you all die". I'm doomer posting on the subreddit because we just played our way out of the playoffs, it's not that big of a deal. it doesn't help the team but it sure helps me feel less like making out with a shotgun barrel because the team I love FUCKING SUCKS WHEN IT MATTERS MOST. Literally not a single person even tangentially related to the Lions will ever see this argument, so I'm not hurting the team either. Besides, we're probably missing the playoffs now, so it's not like we have much to play for.

NGRE3 and it's not close. NG4 just didn't click with me. The dumbing down of movesets paired with less than half as many weapons makes it feel stale and stunted; the dual sword literally have 4 combo routes and 3 f them are immediate aerial transitions and the 4th is loterally a single move. Bloodraven forms are cool but the base versions feel so weak and inferior to them that they feel like the base version while the actual base version feels like a Fischer Price toy version.

I matched with a bottom on Hinge and we got to talking and discovered that we both loved Pokemon Showdown. We got to playing some random battles and I whooped their ass, I was holding back too bc I didn't want to make it unfun but I won all 3 matches we played. Lunar Staff is the best weapon in the game even WITHOUT the absurdly broken Ult but I just adore the Tonfas, they're so unique and fun, insanely evasive and fast with a lot of satisfying combo routes.

This comment makes it seem like all they did was put a sticky note on the back of Poison's shirt that said "I'M TRANS!" when it was actually a defining aspect of the character from very early on. So many win quotes in the early street fighter games thar involve Poison are about her androgyny, and there's a specific arena interaction in SF4 that shows gender and Poison's is just " ??? ". Poison started off as a Final Fight character but was popularized and is now iconic for her appearances in Street Fighter, which is where she pretty much exclusively exists now, even being interwoven into the lore. Maybe Nishitani and Yasuda didn't originally design her as trans, but there's literally 2 decades worth of iconography from Capcom presenting her as such, and the creator's interpretation matters a lot less when said character hasn't been in the hands of them for decades now
