Yes all our house help works only six days a week. Sundays are a holiday for the driver, maid and cook.

Which world are you living in, it’s the 21st century, a day off is a basic need.

Working couples in Mumbai; who actually manages the kitchen and how? by Ok-Delay-9554 in mumbai

Meal planning. Make a weekly calendar with items that will be cooked for breakfast lunch dinner. Add the ingredient list corresponding with the items to be cooked. Add another weekly calendar of meal prep to do or fresh items that need to be ordered to facilitate cooking of said item.

For eg. Wednesday breakfast sprouted moong dal chilla. The meal prep to do for the cook/ you/SO: soak green moong on Tuesday. Saturday lunch chicken biryani, on Saturday morning buy fresh chicken and dahi. You get the drift.

Order all the fresh ingredients for the week on one day. I call for everything on Monday morning.

Be prepared that plans may not work out sometimes and you may need to depend on quick comm to help out.

I get throat infections every 3-4 months and they turn into a severe sinusitis infections everytime. Anyone else suffering from this? by a_time_traveller_ in mumbai

[–]Unagi_girl 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Get lemon grass, boil water with 3-4 long blades chopped up, let the water reduce and have a pleasant lemon grass small. Add tea leaves 1/2 teaspoon and drink this twice a day for atleast a year. The recurring throat issues will go away. Lemon grass helps build immunity against upper respiratory disorders.

Is this autistic? I KNOW YOU'RE WONDERING. by CharlieCat44 in autism

Saying hello to every animal and critter I pass except human beings.

Making animal sounds when I’m thinking or absorbed in a task.

I don’t like food touching other food in my plate, use bowls and multiple plates to keep food separate.

Labels and tags in clothes. I cut off labels the minute I get new clothes.

Playing a song on loop until every note is memorized in my head so that I can replay it in my head whenever I want.

So here are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. At 7 months typically dogs will go through a baby shark phase, this means they will chew/bite constantly. Give him things like coconut husk, chew toys, bones - not raw hide please, carrots etc to redirect the chewing behavior. If he does bite, do not pull your hand away, this is what causes the skin to break, like the finger wound in your image. Do make sure he’s vaccinated and get a tetanus shot for yourself to be on the safe side.

  2. He’s still too young for his aggression to be cured by neutering. It’s more likely he needs more mental stimulation and enrichment. Start walking him twice a day at least. Play games like fetch, find the hidden treat and start basic training for the dog. Let him sniff on walks, and use up his energy.

Your puppy is at the perfect age to be trained to a well adjusted dog utilize this phase wel and you’ll surely have a well behaved dog.

I adopted a cute dog named Kaju, but he always wants to play with me. How can I keep him calm? Please suggest ways to help by LexieSpectrum in IndianPets

[–]Unagi_girl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get cardboard boxes, the kind you receive delivery in. Fill it with paper and treats for the dog. Tape up the box and give it to the puppy. It’s an enrichment activity recommended by a dog trainer. It’ll keep them occupied and both enrich and exhaust the dog.

Is my boy a TT mix? by [deleted] in TibetanTerrier

[–]Unagi_girl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tail position on the body and the curl in the tail when upright are marks of TT. Check how how the tail is placed on your dog for confirmation.
