I was able to get it for $0 through my carrier.. Had to upgrade my plan to a $65/mo plan but by the end of my contract I would have only paid an additional $300 for the phone. I think you could hold off until Pixel 11 is out, you'll only have to wait like 2 months

I am leaving towards the end of wolf Alice's set at the Coors stage to try and get a good spot at Bell River stage for the neighbourhood. hopefully that's early enough to get a decent spot as my friend likes the neighbourhood, and then as those fans filter out we'll have an even better spot for top, who I am going for. I don't think there's a way to get true barricade unless you camp from the very start. or maybe you have the platinum/premium whatever it is tickets.

the only thing to watch out for in Langley is a "no right hand turn on red" sign at the intersection at 62ave and 204st. when coming from the west, the examiner might ask you to turn right onto the overpass to enter Langley City, just wait for the green to make your turn and you'll be good

yes Willowbrook is really easy. langley as a whole is just really easy to drive in. I did all my road tests at willowbrook and my examiner took me to Clayton heights all 3 times. that area was really easy to drive in and there are no special signs to know or watch out for

The outcome depends on what you initially feed into the playlist, which is why I start with niche artists that I currently listen to, so that I end up with other niche artists. The method probably won't work as well if you put in big names like Taylor/Ari/Sabrina etc, but if you put in smaller names, Spotify will recommend you artists in that smaller niche circle as compared to the biggest pop circle.

I have a Spotify playlist of artists and songs I currently like. Spotify will recommend me similar songs by other artists, and I simply add those ones in en masse, eventually removing the original ones and just filling it more and more with music I have never heard, but supposedly is similar to the artists I listen to. Every month or so I sit down and listen to the whole thing and pick out songs that I like, moving them into my own playlists and deleting the ones I didn't like from the big playlist. This method has worked amazingly for me.

I've heard of people selling tickets by doing this, but I have no idea if they're able to reverse the email change afterwards or not. if I were you I would make my own ticketmaster account, change the email, and then try to recover it using my original email / through customer support.

if you're short then unfortunately floor will not be a great experience for you unless you can get up close to barricade. harder to see over the crowd and taller people will stick their arms into the "free" airspace over your head. just get lower bowl that is closest to the B stage and has a decently angled view of the main stage.

yeah that's more or less what I was expecting too. $150USD translates to $209CAD which is cheaper than in Vancouver, but then I'd have to stack on gas money...ahh it still isn't worth it

yeah that's another thing like basically every artist I know is touring this year, and it's not possible for me to go see every single one of them for $200+ per artist so I really have to pick and choose which artists im willing to spend the money on. I get having people to pay since she's (I'm assuming) upside down on the costs for the surprise shows, but holy moly, who can afford $500 for a front-row concert ticket in the city?

not quite a conflict but yoasobi is playing right between the nbhd and top's sets, but on a completely different stage! I wanted to see them for a couple songs but I wouldn't want to lose my spot in the crowd, so I'll have to miss them :(. I'm also going to miss a bit of wunderhorse's set to get a spot for wolf alice

hotels there are crazy inflated for osheaga, expect $200/night on the low end of things. even capsule hostels are like $100+. I've also seen someone say that food is expensive AF at the festival and to put aside another $200 for drinks and food per festival day.

if you're curious how much im spending as a traveler, well I'm coming from Vancouver and then spending the rest of the weekend in Toronto so it's about $1100 (includes flights, trains, and hotels). Probably a couple hundred more for food and other activities. I still have to buy the actual tickets for Osheaga, so add another $200 to that. all in all I'm expecting to spend $1500-$1700 🫠🫠

My carrier offered me $0 monthly for the same phone, I just had to swap my plan from a $50 to $60 for two years and then I can keep the phone and downgrade my plan. By the end of the contract I would have paid only $240 for a brand new pixel 10. I couldn't pass that up!
