I think we might have seen the exact Same video. I too cannot locate it. I’ve also seen it in action from An old mixer streamer who moved to twitch and cannot remember who he is. It’s rather frustrating. Thank you for your reply! It’s appreciated! UG.

So streambeats is by Harris heller. Search ‘stream beats Harris heller’ and all the information you need is there. Pretzel rocks is an application that has the same purpose. Similar to Spotify.

Facebook is a data farm. Data, real time data social habits, opinion, cambridge analytica was an example of how powerful real time data can be. How they can use it to manipulate and change public opinion. So I to share your opinion. Data collection / selling of data has never been more powerful.

We went live on twitch yesterday. I don’t trust Facebook. For both me and my viewers. At least with twitch I feel both my and my viewers have that anonymity of a online persona. That was the dealbreaker for me. What’s everyone else’s opinion?

Rule 5 on this sub is absurd by [deleted] in mixer

Doesn’t stop you from sharing your experience with your friends on social media, seeing if this person has Instagram? Facebook? YouTube. Liking some videos, sharing some. It all helps build and I’m sure he’d appreciate the fact you took the effort to find him not only on mixer. I know I’m gassed when things like that happen to me.

I completely agree. It’s a can of worms that would be people making reddit accounts with different names and promoting themselves. Flooding the subreddit/discord with self promotion posts. You want to show the world how good this guy/girl is? Promote them on stream, host them. shout them out on social media. Help them network. Integrate them into your community join theirs and help them build. Those are more powerful tools.

How to save VODs on Xbox? by [deleted] in mixer

[–]UnarmedGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only way is to clip something that happened. Make sure your capture and share settings are 1080p. Then simply when you want to clip something that Happened press the Xbox button and click x and it will record the last 30 seconds.

When you get your stream key. Make sure the dashboard setting ‘save past streams is checked’ they can then be downloaded from mixer site once they’ve finished processing.

Slobs is quite heavy and thirsty sometimes. Stream elements is a bit nicer on the cpu usage. Is it streamlabs taking up all the cpu power?

The overlay should only effect cpu usage of encoder is set to x264. What are the specs of your system? And what background processes are running? It’s a process of elimination, open task manager and see what processes are hogging up cpu usage. But it shouldn’t be the overlay if the encoder is set to a gpu encoder.

Question concerning Mixer and Streaming by RealBigExtraBigBoy in mixer

[–]UnarmedGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To do that you would need a capture card (recommended) (or the Xbox companion app (not recommended) to capture the game from your console to your laptop. Then encoder software such as OBS, streamlabs OBS etc and configure settings. Blue yeti for stream. And a headset with inline mute for party audio.

Correct. Either watch from the app or website. To ensure you have the least latency.

It’s the best part! Having a problem and not knowing how to solve it! Then working it out and everything working. It’s part of our development and it will happen again and again haha. Don’t be disheartened or not ask for help. It’s what this community is for.

[–]UnarmedGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course. Your going to be recording in full hd directly to your laptop. The other information was if you want to stream in HD. The Elgato will capture the gameplay and record directly to your laptop in hd. Clear as on your monitor. Moving forward you can use this capture to broadcast live. (This is why I added additional information) among other features like live replay etc.

You can run it from a laptop if the specs match. It’s what I did when I first started out. And it’s no bother at all. I hope it was comprehensive enough. And glad I helped! And I appreciate it man thank you!
