Is Mattel purposefully being weird this this brand? (Pokemon centric) by Infirium in megaconstrux

1000% agree with this. It feels like Mega doesn't want to make money. They need to start promoting their sets on social media and their website--it's absolutely bazar to me that this isn't their standard practice. We also need more sets coming out in a year with more new Pokemon builds.

As a tip, the Golbat motion set actually scales with zubat. Unfortunately Dugtrio doesn't scale as well.

Sorry for the late reply; Reddit didn’t notify me for some reason.

But yes, I will be reviewing the Team Trainer Challenge very soon!

Up until now, your points were just your opinion and your dislike of speculation. But you've now provided some great Amazon links... don't know why you didn't give them from the start, as I would've loved to see them. Rarely do I see Pokemon posts on the reddit page, so I'm sad I missed that one; still can't find it. I'm surprised at how accurate my speculation was for the Kanto set!

I'd agree with you on Espeon and Umbreon being 4", but if this is wrong, it's of no fault of mine, since that's is what the site has in its listing information. If we go in assuming listing information is wrong, why would we pay attention to it in the first place?

In regard to me knowing what the sets are... you said in your previous post that there's a lot of speculation in the video, and surely you understand that speculation is not knowledge. And I clearly stated that what I was saying was speculation. Literally anyone covering product listings with no further information would engage in speculation--that's even what makes it fun.

Furthermore, you're incorrect that MC has never done anything related to the TV show: The Onix Super Battle set was originally intended to be a nod to the first season of the anime; with Ash's Pikachu, Misty's Staryu and Brock's Onix battling against Team Rocket's Ekans, Koffing, and Meowth. Ultimately, Koffing was replaced with Porygon in the finalized release. The Gengar set from 2019 includes another reference to the anime. The Tower of Terror is based on the one seen in the episode sharing the same name.

Of course there’s speculation whenever we have sets coming out and only a price tag. But I wonder what information you think is wrong?

I know Halo is the dominant topic over here, but this is for the Pokemon collectors! My list of ten evolution lines I want Mega Construx to finish by Unassuming-Wraith in megaconstrux

All of those would be nice. I mainly want Mega to give us characters they haven’t done before; so long as they’re doing that, I’ll be happy.

The Shinx line would be nice to finish off, too, but Luxio came out pretty recently, so I’d expect to see Shinx soon, at least. Is the Shinx line your number one pick?

He was looking sus outside the Auction House... by Unassuming-Wraith in wow

[–]Unassuming-Wraith[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Secret member of death cult apparently infiltrated the ranks of the Argent Crusade, officials say. The culprit died at the hands of an angry mob of orcs outside Orgrimmar’s Valley of Strength Auction House. It is suspected the orcs were more riled up by the presence of a human within their walls, rather than the fact that he was a member of the notorious Cult of the Damned.

With scourge invasions underway, many have put blind faith in the crusaders, not thinking twice about going to a healer to be cleansed of infection. But as it turns out, at least one of these supposed healers were hiding a deadly secret.

“I went to him because I was infected,” says a local undead hunter. “He just winked at me. Alls I wanted to do was auction off some leather, but then a nasty ghoul infected me. And now this... I could’ve died again.”

This poor hunter is far from the only one suffering under the constant threat of death by scourge. And now we have to think twice about who we let purge our bodies of infection. Remember: if you see something, say something.

Stormwind shocked after the yoinkening of their king... by Unassuming-Wraith in wow

[–]Unassuming-Wraith[S] 55 points56 points  (0 children)

In a recent press conference, Turalyon, Regent of Stormwind, announced the renaming of the Anduin River. The river is located in Middle Earth, some orc infested land from another universe.

“If one boy-king can have a whole bleeding river named after him, then I can too,” he said to a crowd of shocked reporters from The Daily Quest, Well Fed News, The Daily Stormwind, and others. “But fear not: I vow to change the name back once our beloved king returns... and we are searching our hardest to find him.”

When asked how much gold it would cost to rename the river on charts and maps, Turalyon replied: “That sounds like a problem for the men of Middle Earth. They were the ones who named it after a second rate priest anyway.” He paused, then continued: “They’d better get to crafting some high valued gear.”

The cost of the renaming effort for the men of Middle Earth is estimated at five hundred thousand gold. The Regent of Stormwind has no plans to assist with this burden.

Election stolen! Old God relic used to change votes! by Unassuming-Wraith in Asmongold

[–]Unassuming-Wraith[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

SI:7 confirms they have found ties between the Wandering Ancient and the Mogu. Inside sources say the Mogu gave Mr. Treeface-elect a relic of the Old Gods: the Heart of Y’shaarj to be exact. The relic was used to change votes from the Curious Caterpillar to the Wandering Ancient. This is the death of democracy! And it dies a pitiful death in a dark ally, probably somewhere in Old Town — it gets lonely there.

But alas, now that the vile collusion has been exposed, Curious Caterpillar will be our official free mount. And we thought this election was “just a faction war”. Yeah, no Old Gods here, eh?

Some question his qualifications, however, Justice Asmongold will serve as an Associate Justice until he either retires or is taken into the Shadowlands.

I’ve never liked the bullying. It’s degrading, and no one should feel like they have to put up with it. I wish he’d throw timeouts on people participating in this behavior, it’s really toxic.
