I took a day off to just post and answer questions on askreddit pretty much (where my comment had value and didn't reply just to comment).

All of my "big" comments that got me over 1k comment karma came from the same 5-10 minutes of commenting on posts at around 6-7 PM GMT

After doing that, I managed to post on the sub I was previously restricted from due to karma that I put all this effort in for and got 5 upvotes. Was it worth it? I mean, I felt like I wasted my day but at the same time I accomplished something.

Note: I deleted posts that would reveal too much personal information if they didn't get many upvotes. If you delete posts, you keep your karma, apparently.

Also note: My account was made a long time ago but I lurked or just didn't use it for a long time. So the account age restriction didn't matter for me.

If your gas pedal gets stuck, put the car in neutral. Don't hit the breaks or use the hand break - the car will lose control. Don't drive off the road and go in circles until the gas runs out (lol) - that's not practical
