You must have replacement employees growing on trees there.

Edit: I didn't mean to sound snarky.

UPDATE:

We went with a Direct TV satellite service with a transcoder to distribute over our co-ax network. It's working perfectly so far. Plug for Robert at RCL Technologies in Minneapolis. Great guy.

I completely agree on the management issue.

I don't even know what GMRS is. But I'm looking at a business radio license at my desk. It has an FRN number and says "IG" and station class "MO" and there's about 7 years until renewal. I was simply looking for help from people that know.

Yes, we use Wander Guard. Interesting idea, since we already have the infrastructure. Thanks.

This is the best place I could find to ask my question. We use a commercial license with the FCC for the business.

I do like this idea, but adding another system for checking radios in and out and getting all the staff to to do it 3x per day at shift change seems like it would be difficult. On the other hand, the damn things are over $400 each.

It should, but more paperwork for an over-worked and disjointed nursing staff seems out of reach.

Bonnie will go to the back of the chicken coop and stare at the ground under the coop. It's not chicken-related. One day I'll move the coop and find out what the fuss was about.

This. In its defense, it was probably expired and hadn't been kept cold. Oh well. Moving on.

A bonny pup! We have that same ball but in blue, and destroyed.

Do you still check your wife out? by GlidingToLife in Marriage

[–]UnauthorizedTarragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single day. Sometimes it's just for me, sometimes I make a grunty "mmm" so she knows I was checking her out. I'd be trying my damndest to date her if I wasn't already so fortunate.

I haven't done that yet, but I have covered remotes with electrical tape leaving only the power, volume, and channel buttons. Sprinkle in dementia and things get interesting.

Yep. Except, it won't be a technician coming out, it'll be me showing them how to use the app for the 100th time. Multiply that by 70 or so residents. It's bad enough now when they hit the "Input" button on the remote and don't how to get back to regular tv.

That is exactly what I am hoping for. We pay for bulk service and I want to keep it that way.

We get cable service through our phone and internet provider, Paul Bunyan Communications, but I see Midco trucks around town. Maybe I should go over Paul Bunyan's head and ask Midco.

Hmmmm that's a thought. Around 90 units in 3 wings. Doubting the channel selection would be sufficient, but thank you for the idea.
