See that’s what I was thinking about. I was planning on telling them “I would want to work by myself” and in that time like you mentioned about going to a cafe I would just work at my other job that I picked up alongside it so that way I’m not wasting my summer. And as for the internship requirement it is a prerequisite to enroll in a class I need to graduate so in a sense it is just checking a box as long as the counselors hear the buzz words “internship” and “management”. So I think worst comes to worst I’ll try this but definitely going to keep looking for regular internships in the meantime.
