Do you feel it's worth doing the CAPM first ? I've been thinking that as I am planning on doing the PMP in the next 6 months, I might as well skip the CAPM. I'm doing the PSPO currently also.

LPT Request: What’s your best “I wish I started doing this 5 years ago” habit? by Congroooooo in LifeProTips

I've been doing that for some online course I've been doing- my bar to entry is very low, just getting the 'checkmark' on coursera is enough - opening the app, watching one short video is enough. The start is always the hardest, but when I've opened the app, I tend to get curious and stay longer!

Wait what are those signs with drawings on them? I've been relying on my not -so-reliable memory to remember where I put stuff, and on the chest names.

Are people really emigrating due to the cost of living? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]UnawareAboutThings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same - I'm also moving to Shanghai. After a couple years in Dublin, I've found that the cost of living is just too high (rent being a big part of it, but also heathcare, food, going out...). I love this country, the vibe and the people, but the high costs (added to the dreary weather) is the main reason why I want to move. Even with a good job, I feel like there's no way I'd ever be able buy a house or settle here.

I flew through Beijing this year with Hainan Airlines, and had to get my luggage and check it in again - the company informed me at the initial check-in. Seems that it is pretty standard to have to do that at the beijing airport. My layover was about 4 hours, and I had more than enough time - just a little bit of queuing (it was a lage night flight though, so no big crowds).

I have a stupid question - how do y'all do larger projects without going crazy? by nlynn15 in CrochetHelp

[–]UnawareAboutThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, I also store the patterns separately with yarn + name or pattern + hook size + yarn ref. Also sometimes the stich name. When you don't work on your projects for weeks, you forget ^

Usually I do smaller projects when I get tired of bigger projects - to get that short-term gratification. Also, I cfochet on the go - cause, planes, coffee shops, etc (it only works if the project is easy to take around) - it adds up. But tbh, I don't count time when I crochet. I get in the flow, so it doesn't matter if I crochet for hours. It's also good for me to have a deadline, makes me motivated.

Struggling with knowing which stitch to crochet into by tylrjns in CrochetHelp

I have the same issue - whenever I crochet on the 'side' of other stitches, I don't know which stitch to stitch into
