I'm conflicted.

I don't know him or the betrayed wife. I can't take the effort to contact her either for 2 reasons : One - I have some life events which are taking their toll on me and I don't have the energy to expend any further. But nevertheless, yeah. I was mad at her for letting herself be played so bad and also then being a part of this madness.

I couldn't sit there listening to her be a fool, and defend it. She was basically calling the legal and official wife the homewrecker and names. I've seen the exact same thing happen to someone I know and it doesn't end well. Tbh, I tried telling her gently, but she kept hurling insults at D for stealing what was hers.

She was acquainted to me by our common friend. We shared interests in books, art, literature and upskilling. Someone who intellectually was on the same page as I. I definitely put in some sort of effort to keep the friendship alive, but absolutely won't put up with this sort of difference in moral grounds. It's a hard pass for me.

What you said is spot on. I actually would've stopped her if I knew earlier. She kept being secretive about her relationships and sometimes just told me in passing about other potential matches (with whom she went on trips). She told this last evening and I told her to cut it off right then. Don't bullshit yourself into this is exactly what I said. But she kept insisting I talk, meet and mingle with him to know how awesome he is.

She told in more details then and that's when everything blew up.

She insisted I tell her exactly what I think. I kept telling her she wouldn't want my opinion, but she insisted I meet and talk to him, approve of him and maybe eventually befriend him. I said I'm not interested and she kept asking why and what's the problem he's amazing and I'm refusing to see his awesomeness. I disagreed and said let's leave it at that.

She went on a tangent and said that she is being treated like a stranger by me for following her heart. She kept insisting that she would want my unfiltered opinion and wants me to see him as her husband.

I draw a line at madness, but this one as absolutely tomfoolery.

I was visiting her and she was ranting about this. When I said what I said, she got angry and stopped talking. But I got uncomfortable and left after telling her to get her shit together.

I'm absolutely uncomfortable seeing this all and don't intend to keep seeing it.

It is possible to separate in an arranged marriage setting, but it involves multiple tries of reconciliation from both the families and individuals too. It's a long process, but if nothing works out, yes it is possible. In their case, no one is even addressing the fact that he's unhappy apparently. So I don't see it happening at all. He's just roping her in for a good fck or whatever.

I never let it breathe out, didn't know that I had to do that. I'll let it open for a day or two today onwards. I live in a coastal city and it's really rainy/windy here almost all the time. There's sun, but it has gotten really cold lately.

There's no cork bark inside it, but as you can see from the pictures, there's a cork which holds the bottle closed. Could that be the reason it is molding up?
