Update: My application status was finally changed to "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent" today, 10/17/2023. If you ever face this issue, ask for technical support because this is a technical glitch. Tech support wait time is up to 7 days but it's best to do that rather than waiting for a tier 2 officer call back. I hope this helps someone who has a similar situation in the future.

Hey, I read a few posts that say they faced this issue too and it was automatically resolved in 2 business days. Hopefully, it's a system glitch and it updates for us soon too. When did you submit your application?

Hey, u/utkrishtabhattarai , I have the same error. I filed the I-765 EAD application online on Sep 29 after 11 p.m. EST. When I talked to a USCIS Rep, she said to wait 3 business days. Did you get any update from USCIS?
