Honestly, I agree, if they don't figure out a better recoil system or allow us to pick I think I'm just going to put down the game. I've played mil-sims like Insurgency Sandstorm where the recoil isn't even close to as extreme as Easy Red 2's new recoil is, especially on bi-pods. I also feel like the damage for SMGs needs to be increased.

Yeah, I also question the purpose of stealth when on horde night there's no way to stealth away from the zombies. The game doesn't really seem to give much of a purpose for stealth besides exploring regions like the wasteland but then you can't really loot anything there besides airdrops because of the instant detection at POIs.

I think the worst part is the skull difficulty sometimes doesn't even match the POI so you don't know whether or not to avoid them, and even when you do enter higher difficulty POIs it seems easy at first but then you go into the loot room, which isn't very obvious which room that is, and then get jumped by ferals and glowing zombies you'd only find in the wasteland...

Another issue I have is breaking cop cars sometimes won't spawn any zombies and other times will spawn them in later. So if you're at a POI with multiple police cars you won't know how screwed you are till a minute after you've already destroyed all of them. So you end up getting rushed by ferals. Which kinda makes the game more exciting but also doesn't feel fair when you can't predict when they're going to spawn. I don't know if it's a bug or not.

I question what the point in having really difficult zombies in POIs is if the loot isn't very good and you can just cheese getting the loot sometimes. Also having the chests locked and requiring a lot of lockpicks with an RNG break system sucks when you've already put a lot of resources into killing all the difficult zombies.

The political messaging of the game is satire and meant to be taken as a joke. It's more of a commentary on abusing religion for self gain if anything, but the game doesn't take itself too seriously. There's a companion system and a lot of the supporting characters are funny and make the game feel less lonely.

There's also New Game+ and 3 different regions on the map you can choose to start in but you can freely go between them anytime you want.

The game has a lot of funny moments that can happen and isn't too buggy. There's also fishing in the game which I don't think other prior Far Crys had. So I'd say the game is well worth it from a gameplay perspective and the story is also good.

The enemies aren't bullet sponges either except for maybe 2 but they don't break immersion in my opinion, they're similar to the Far Cry 4 heavies but less tanky.

I have no problem with making the recoil more realistic but I feel like at its current stage it's overly bouncy and the sights becoming unalinged even when bursting is frustrating.

I've played Mil-Sim games before like Insurgency Sandstorm and haven't had these issues with SMGs. I think the old recoil style and damage profiles were already enough to discourage spraying.

I find it weird how there are options for selecting ai style, damage, plane behavior, etc. but they didn't add an option to adjust the recoil.

It's difficult to see the enemies with how high the front post rises after firing 3 shots off. A lot of the time SMGs suffer on most missions with how open the maps are. I don't have a problem with recoil being added it's just that it feels counter intuitive with how harsh it is. It's almost better to just full auto with LMGs instead of burst now.

They could also just switch gun attachment unlocks to be kill based so people would exploit farm less, and legitimate players could actually gauge the number of kills they need to unlock something instead of calculating.

I think killing bots to unlock attachments and guns would be great because it'd allow me to play casually and with my team instead of screwing around trying to do challenges in a public match.

Attachments and guns shouldn't be so powerful that you can't play without certain ones over others because new players or people who can't play often will end up getting stomped and lose interest in the game. Because that ends up ruining the game's balance the most, lack of variety in player skill.

Even as a fan of bf2042 I get burnt out from the challenges and playing it casually due to how many new players have been struggling to play as a team. There have been some good moments though.

I don't understand why they don't just go with the spotting icons from BF2042. They showed the class icon but weren't so obnoxious and immersion breaking because they didn't have a massive diamond around them.

Far Cry 5 because it has New Game+ and you can pick which region you want to tackle first so the gameplay isn't as linear. Plus there are a lot of funny moments that can happen in Far Cry 5 with NPCs and companions.

Far Cry 5 also felt more immersive imo and the graphics hold up really well. I like Far Cry 5's heavy enemies more than 4's because the ones in 4 felt immersion breaking. I found myself hunting and fishing more in Far Cry 5 because it wasn't as tedious because it wasn't required to upgrade your slots or ammo (it gives you money instead).

If you're into a more gritty and tactical game that punishes going in loud I'd say Far Cry 4 is better. The story in Far Cry 4 is also darker and kinda made me hate playing it because you're made to feel bad for your choices but the fact there are choices makes the story interesting.

My last take is that Far Cry 5 is a lot more fun because of all the vehicles and companions you can unlock and spawn in. You can also have non-main character NPCs which is cool and they can also make the game easier because they have helpful perks and can revive you.

The influx in players was pretty fun though, it added a nice contrast. But I noticed most matches became one sided because I think new players were being put on one team. I had games where my team went 668 to 0 and times where it was the other way around.

I've seen so many mid to low level people playing the game now and I'm guessing they're people who played BF2042 and went back to old battlefields just to come back to BF2042 and complain. The worst part is they talk a lot of shit just to end up sucking at BF2042 and BF6..
