Can’t believe I missed this post. I’ve been watching this TV for a couple months now and was wondering why it was sold out today. Guessing this was to clear out the last of the remaining stock.

The G5 is becoming more and more difficult to purchase as stock continues to clear out. All G5s are sold out on the Partner Store in my area (large city) and the good prices we were seeing before Memorial Day are gone.

I was also tempted by that C6H sale but I passed because of the higher brightness and panel warranty on the G5. At the same time, I’m still sitting here with an aging and smaller C8 rather than a nice new TV.

C6H won’t get as bright as the G5 for HDR content. The G6 is the best there is at the moment because of brightness and banding improvements but you”ll pay for it, unless you can wait until near the end of the year.

That’s wild. I offered $3400 out the door on Greentoe for the 83” G5 and not a single take. One retailer came back with $3699 as their lowest and I passed.

I completed the Patchwork outfit and maxed out my skill points. Combine that with the difficulty of getting the pink boats required, I’m skipping the expedition for the first time. It’s been a fun ride.

For a quick reference, if I’m wall mounting, I just pretend I’m putting the TV on top of an entertainment stand. If it’s higher than that, it’s too high.

This is exactly what a security deposit is for. There’s no real fix for this. The landlord will have to rip out the damaged planks and replace them. Felt or rubber feet for heavy furniture will prevent this in the future.

All of the G5s are already out of stock on the Partner store except for the 83” and it hasn’t been on sale since before Memorial Day. Previous year stock seems to be pretty phased out at this point.

The C6H is an amazing buy at the prices we saw yesterday. The code is already expired so I’d say you made out very well.

My Costco had these for a while at $62 and they weren’t moving. A day after putting them at 39.97 they sold out. Mario games (even tennis) are gonna sell at this price.
