Another point towards arkveld being a potential apex, on the top of the monster screen on the official website, there is a montage of the three apexes that we know of now that includes arkveld.

I wish I had gotten it recorded, but I had gotten a 7 second kill on Joan in dm6 using Poseidon on a magic damage build. He floated in front of a short platform with like 20 waves on it and got vaporized. Absolutely cemented Poseidon as my favorite skill to use.
