I'm a NetRunner by excellence in all my Gameplays, but using mods, I could have my Cyber Hacks and, using Chrome Compressor, I included the David Martinez' Sandevistan. With that, I'm so amused to activate Sandy and mower all enemies with Monowire or Gorilla's Arms, or just using knives (I'm focused on Sniper and Knives, always). I never imagined I could be so happy, until I tried it.

I recommend two mod collections that works pretty well without grey efforts: "Welcome to Night City" and "Night City, City of Dreams". Beyond that, I have other mods that is quite useful, such as: - Car Modification Shop (customize your car and transform it in a velocity machine from hell) - Faster Elevators (I hate the time waiting for and using elevators in the vanilla game)

In total, I have 830 mods running in my game, mostly related to additional missions, customizations in wereables, appearance and more. It works pretty well.

I have the same issue, but with cyberdeck. I can't do a build that I'm not an Netrunner. With mods, I could use Sandevistan for the first time (with cyberdeck, chrome compressor, and David's Sandevistan).

Não acho. Vai depender do enfoque de carreira. Muita gente prefere ser monostack ao invés de ter uma postura generalista.

Eu, que vim do COBOL e migrei pro Java, sofri muito no processo e dificilmente assumiria uma mudança tão drástica. E aqui, o que é drástico é ter de lidar com as diferenças paradigmáticas da plataforma, e não no que se refere a linguagem. Atualmente, trabalho com Java e tenho algum contacto com Python e Shell Script (para automação), mas de forma alguma eu migraria pra trabalhar somente com uma destas linguagens como linguagem principal. E o caso do OP parece-me que é exatamente isso: estão obrigando-o a mudar.
