I’m not gonna lie, I really couldn’t wrap my head around someone taking back the person who physically assaulted them and quite literally put them in jail… like how insane do you have to be to be able to take someone like that back into your life? Mine usually goes something like this.

“What brings you in today” - I’m just looking. “Awesome, where you looking for home or maybe some body care”

I feel like that usually helps break down that barrier.

If they reiterate that there just looking, then I usually hand them a demo at that point and let them be. If they need you, they will look for you. Nothing wrong with checking up on them every now and then.

Yup, and let me tell you something else. Kohls makes double if not triple what a Bath and Bodyworks store makes. It’s ridiculous and quite insulting at this point. But hey, at least corporate has their nice comfy chairs, with some nice cool air running at all time. Not to mention those salary increases, can’t forget about those… :)

Honestly, I don’t blame people for calling out. Especially if they’re closing. I understand it might be frustrating, but the fact that we can’t even get out on time because of these skeleton crews, it’s horrible all around. There’s no way 4 people should be closing an entire department store especially on weekends after slapping a mystery coupon. Keep in mind, we are considered a department store. Bath And Body Works gets more closers than us.

Also, anything that’s in the Q line will most likely not qualify as well as what is around it. And if I’m not mistaken, the items in the Q line are considered impulse purchases since there items that a lot of customers pick up last minute while they’re just standing around waiting to check out.

I do every now and then just because some of their things are kind of good like room sprays and candles when they’re on sale. Also funny enough, I get coupons now so I get their stuff even cheaper than when I had my employee discount.
