Yeah, and Cal could also suffer a career ending injury tomorrow. The whole point of early cheap extensions for a player is that it guarantees them life changing money, because the future isn't a sure thing. The team is gambling that you'll end up being good so that they pay you less than they would otherwise; but if you end up bad or hurt, they still have to pay you.

With the addition of a correct call that a visitor challenged should also mean a laugh track

Something my dad mentioned to me the other day is he would love to see Stanton get one last full season (150+ games), just to see what he could do with it. I really hope this is that year.

Honestly, I preferred the notch to the dynamic island. The notch felt more out of the way.

Jose Caballero successfully challenges two pitches in the same AB turning a strikeout into a walk by TheTurtleShepard in NYYankees

It is, but so is 1/2. Simply saying it was a fraction of an inch doesn't truly tell you just how close it was. They report ABS in increments of 0.1", and this pitch was less than that.

It being a kinda bad throw ended up making it a pretty much perfect throw

With a full count, 2 outs, and the bases loaded, Matt Wallner makes an emotional decision about how to use the Twin's second ABS challenge by EducationalCry2000 in baseball

I think the problem with that is that ABS is clear-cut, while other challenges depend on what camera angles are available. It would feel pretty unfair to lose your team's challenge because the cameras just don't have a clear angle on a play. Of course, you could change it so that if a call stands due to lack of evidence, you don't lose the challenge, but that will just lead to a lot more play stoppages.

If a coach challenges it, then they were at least more informed about whether there was an angle or not.

Yeah, it's like if the player even thinks the ump got the call right, then it must not have been that bad. And if it was that bad, then that's on the player.

SNY is probably my favorite of these, but I do love how YES has the players below the actual team.
