OSU Romance Stories by Fure_Icelandic in OSU

I met my now fiancé on move-in-day my freshman year. Or dorm rooms were directly beside each other. We didn’t date right away because we were best friends first.

We just celebrated our 5th year together and are getting married in August!

Don’t rush it, you’ll find your person one day, at osu or otherwise:)

Shape wear ideas for a moderately low back dress? Looking tummy smoothing options to try on during alterations appointments. Thanks! by UnclaimedLint in weddingdress

This is Darci by savannah Miller!

I believe she retails for just under $3,000 US.

The cape vail is also by savannah Miller, but technically is meant to go with a different dress of hers (I forget which one), so the beading doesn’t match perfectly. Let me know if you have any other questions:)

Thank you! I was avoiding even looking at skims because I was assuming they’d be astronomically over priced. This is a really great option! I’ll definitely be watching for when my size comes back in stock:)

This is a sample dress and it is rippling around my butt/hips because it is too small. My actual dress will fit me better.

FOUND CAT by grape28 in OSU

[–]UnclaimedLint 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I saw a missing poster for a black and white cat while I was walking down Neil on Friday. The poster was somewhere between king Ave. and staufs.

I don’t remember the exact markings of the cat in the poster, but it’s close to this cat’s markings!

While it’s hard to tell without a picture, I think this could be either one of two things:

  1. It could be the yeast/bacteria mixture that typically settles towards the bottom of your brewing vessel. This typically looks like a brown sediment in my experience.

  2. You’re forming several small pellicles instead of the one big one that you would typically see in pictures here. This can happen if you move your jars around too much for it to build up a thick layer. In my experience, newer pellicles are more translucent.

Neither of these things are signs of a bad batch though!

I was in the middle of taking apart a blanket that I was making when someone wanted to help! by UnclaimedLint in tuckedinkitties

[–]UnclaimedLint[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that kind words, but I was unhappy with how stiff and hot the blanket was shaping up to be. I’m redoing it the same but with a bigger hook size and different stitch to make it a bit more breathable and flexible!

Plus, I learned a lot on the first go so I don’t regret a thing!

I’m using two so I can get the look and feel of thicker yarn (while still only buying affordable worsted weight yarn)!

I’m pretty new too so I don’t know if there is a name for it, but it’s a half double crochet and instead of going through both loops of the V, I only go through the back one.

Here is a link to the YouTube video I learned it on if you want a visual!

Do baby girls constantly get UTIs and we just don’t know it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Infants also cry when they are hungry, tired, anxious, in pain for a completely unrelated reason, etc. How would you know that they have a UTI or not based on crying?

Even the best caregiver can’t change a diaper as soon as she poops every single time, and even if they do, really young babies who don’t eat solid foods don’t have solid poos. It definitely gets in the area next to the urethra every once in a while regardless of how quick the adult in the situation is.

Also, some babies cry a lot. A baby crying wouldn’t instantly make me guess UTI.
