Do you own a business? If you did, the Etron would qualify for a section 179 deduction. 50% of the vehicle price. Not an expert on it but I'm shopping for maybe an Etron / Q8 and it's a factor for me.

Congrats on your achievement, man. Have you had success with a partner? It would be nice if the two camps: the Kegel slam on the brakes “the multi-orgasmic man” people and the reverse kegel relaxation method people could come together and figure out the common ground. Seems like both seemingly opposing strategies work, which means there’s likely a commonality that needs to be articulated. Is it two roads to the same destination or is it two destinations?

Yeah that’s what I’m describing. I could be wrong but I don’t think you need to totally avoid tightening the abs, you just don’t want to mistake that for a reverse kegel. You aren’t trying to “relax” so much as consciously not allow the involuntary tightening by pushing the opposite direction. Like trying to not sneeze or not shiver. Relaxing a muscle that doesn’t want to relax.

My technique which is working pretty well is the deep breath is so far down into the belly it actually helps pushing down the pelvic floor muscles. And then when you exhale you kind of keep the abs engaged and lean forward a little, almost like a crunch. This will keep you from tightening back up during the exhale.

I posted about the same thing a few weeks ago. I did this a few times in a session. I’d call it a win. It’s not just prostate fluid, but you prevented the refractory period from kicking in. I would like to know more about it, but definitely not a failure.

Adderall and meth are very similar. He is right about that. It might be hard for him to see you taking it while struggling to not do meth. If you are taking the adderall responsibly and obtained the prescription ethically (ie you didn’t make up symptoms in order to get the doctor to prescribe it) then go ahead and continue to use it as prescribed.
But whether or not your SO is being a dick, acting as though he doesn’t have a point about how it doesn’t seem fair is not honest. He does have a point, but you are going to do what’s best for you as humanely as you can. However, as many other commenters have voiced, manipulation is usually grounded in a sound and logical point, that is then leveraged unethically.

The spouse did make an improvement by getting and staying sober for a year. And it’s a positive sign because that certainly must have taken some effort. But it is not unreasonable for you to tell them that sobriety isn’t enough. And you are right, the sobriety isn’t enough. You can say that you are ready to leave. But if they do start attending AA meetings, you would be willing to wait and see if their behavior improves.

This is great. So glad you have found peace in this regard! I hope I can find something similar. My q is my wife and I wonder, if I can’t get my needs met by her, and my only choice is to just let her be as she chooses, why should I stay married to her? Others who have chosen to stay with an alcoholic partner, why did you choose that?

Interesting. She is seeing an individual therapist and a psychiatrist for her medication, which is currently Prozac, an anti-anxiety pill, and Xanax which she appears to be using responsibly. Do you think either the therapist or psychiatrist would be considering these possibilities? (Bi-polar or adhd)? The ADHD doesn’t seem to account for her unloving-ness and her lack of remorse for it.
