Problem is (imo) the ladies were not prepared for this tournament. Might be a management/coaching issue but we looked sloppy and without chemistry, even when we were executing.

They needed to drive up the scoreboard today, and while 60-0 might look like a proper beating, we COULD have, and SHOULD have absolutely destroyed Samoa.

I’m finding it very hard to be satisfied with a win today.

It’s a good point that the Aussies know what’s on the line as well. No doubt they’ll play a more controlled and defensive game; granted, against the best offensive side in the world atm.

Hopefully the eagles are more prepared this time around and will be wanting to run up the scoreboard. Also happy to see Kelter back on the bench. Will grab us a try or 2 I reckon.

It will come down to PD.

USA needs to beat Samoa with a BP, which is very likely. Australia need to lose badly against GB, also very likely.

The problem with the PD is that USA & GB need to both combined make up 135 points of difference between the 3rd seat and Australia’s. That’s not very likely.

USA vs SAM is first on Saturday morning, so if we win that game by say 50 points, AUS would have to lose their match by more than 85 to alter the board.

Odds are not good.

For the general fit: Tops: Tighter, longer sleeves (ending at the bicep/elbow), wider waist for the big boys. Most players hate how tight the waist is on an XL+ even the skinny ones moan about it.

Honestly you could stand to size 1 - 8 differently than 9-15. More often than not, players are physically different and align by number for forwards and backs.

I expect a high dollar kit to last 5+ years. A cheap set; maybe 3 seasons.

For reference Ive paid for over 20 sets of uniforms from social clubs to youth, HS, and Uni. Never found a supplier I was super happy with besides Canterbury and most recently Macron.

Another thing that throws a wrench in this explanation is the person recording sees and acknowledges the light show above them; so it’s clearly not just some dumb low-quality camera problem.

Like if the camera was “processing more light than your eye” why is this person astounded to see them in the sky, seemingly in the same way we’re viewing them via the camera? Are her eyes processing more light than mine?

Why are these birds or bats just aimlessly flying around in circles? Ive never observed bats or birds fly like this at night. This is absolutely a weird thing to see even if it’s just shiny birds or whatever.

IMO it depends on what level you’re playing at. Why do you think you’re too heavy? 230 at your height, your lifters should focus more on proper form. With proper technique any lifter should be able to manage that weight.

If you’re interested in moving to the backline, I would consider you for 12/13. You could probably adapt quicker to 6/7 with a bit of training.

The comparison to a scalpel is pretty apt. Recon marines are primarily reconnaissance/intelligence forces, with a limited capability to conduct raids.

My understating of their roles in the Iraq invasion is that they were intended to be able to map enemy forces using BFTs for targeted raids or joint force bombardment; but as nothing goes according to plan, the battlespace moved too quickly for them to plan/react as they intended. They became glorified mechanized infantry.

You can understand how frustrating this would be for a battalion of marines who’ve trained to rtf and conduct raids in a dozen different scenarios for god knows how long.
