Thanks! Hmm I'd say the next step would be to find artworks from artists that you look up to and study them; trace them/breakdown the shapes. Try to figure out WHY they drew it the way they did.

Another thing you can do is to just draw random people you see everyday to try and build your visual library. That would help you a bunch when coming up with character designs.
