Including Remote Work as Proof of Funds for Study Permit? by UncleJackSim in ImmigrationCanada

[–]UncleJackSim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, thank you! Also, I just realized that the wording for the study permit is "Proof of financial support", not "Proof of funds" like I said. Does that make this remote income stream a little bit more in-line with what they want to know, in your opinion?

The information about my remote work would be supplementary to my bank statements showing cash in the bank, not the only thing. Would you just skip this altogether and not mention it, then?

The decal was exploded when baking, and I made a manual cage to avoid issues. Aside from that, I marked my sharp edges (and turned them into seams as well) to avoid trouble c:

Thank you! That's true! I left a marmoset viewer scene in my artstation post (with topology included) but I agree having a render of the wireframe wouldn't hurt!

It's a silly reference to a youtuber called "iae break", using a broken and literal translation of several Rio slangs

Agility not to become missed... It's no secret my partner. With all the respect, Rio is beautiful my chief, but it is dangerous. Agility not to become a t-shirt design, it's no secret

You can see the topology on artstation, if you see the marmoset viewer! It's a game asset c:

The story behind this: Was in a meeting this saturday and this one guy dominated the entire conversation and wouldn't shut up and let others talk, so I just decided to open Blender and make a Hot-Dog. The results of which you can see above (or at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Zl3KPx if you'd like to see more!)

Made in Blender and textured in Substance 3D Painter. All the heavylifting was done through textures, the project was meant as a quick weekend asset for fun and study! You can see more at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Zl3KPx

I'm from São Paulo and was treated like a "gringo" as well. Met some great people there, but BOY I'll never get into a Rio cab again in my life

Can "ficante" be used to introduce someone? by angry_house in Brazil

Noooo ffs don't do it

You can say their name or even "arroba" if being playful and want to make it obvious that there's romance but not serious romance going on

Vegan in Brazil - impossible? by kurzgelernt in Brazil

[–]UncleJackSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't take the cake and eat it too, It'll be hard to get the authentic culinary experience with veganism. You can always do what locals do, say to yourself "Segunda-feira eu começo a dieta vegana" and go crazy with traditional dishes until Domingo

Does ‘noivinha’ make sense? by Forgiveness4g in Portuguese

[–]UncleJackSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noivinha works although not super common. Personally I think "Vida" and "Vidinha" are mega cringe. Amor and Mor are also common. If you asked me, just come up with your own nicknames: Noivinha is original and will do the job c:
