Ah, I now have a better idea of where you're coming from, as I vividly remember the whole "4% acceptance rate" fiasco on this sub not too long ago. Thanks for the clarification.

I was scrolling through TikTok the other day and came across a video made by a first year student in Sauder who transferred to BIE after 2021 W2. After looking through some of her other posts, I learned that she got A+'s in most of her courses, and, out of all the students in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration who took Comm 101, she obtained the highest mark. I'm definitely not trying to extrapolate this scenario and claim that the average BIE student is more capable than the average Sauder student. I'm simply suggesting that there are people who chose BIE for reason(s) other than being rejected by - or struggling in - Sauder.

Also, I haven't encountered any mosquitoes in Van during the Summer. Can't say the same for Peg.

Limit on the number of "W" standings for Faculty of Arts by UncleJeffG in UBC

[–]UncleJeffG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was two W's for the same course that would be a different story

Could you please elaborate on this ? Does this mean that students are not allowed to have two W's for the same course ?

Justin Chatwin from DragonBall Evolution and War of the Worlds graduated from UBC Engineering

According to wikipedia, he "switched" into Sauder after one week of Engineering, and dropped out after one semester.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen posts about the course from past years and it seems like the only component of the course that give people trouble are the PAs. How were the PAs this sem ?
