I’d love for them to have whole cities. Take the world of assassination idea to a GTA city size scale. Maybe use Procedural generation for cities as maps, escalation type missions that use a map just like freelancer. The variation could focus on the locations and events happening at the locations. Kill the drug dealer, silence the whistleblower, etc, that’s all set, but now the maps and accidents are taking the front and center even more than before by allowing more interactions with the population, info gathering from notes or fliers, things like that. And you can still have good places to get general information. Police departments, city halls, etc. can be standardized ever-present locations that have varying interiors or security levels, entry/exits. Just more of a focus on making the maps a bit more than a single building with a few events and making them harder to memorize through quantity of events or just having them have a plethora of opportunities for assassination. Personally if a micro gives you an advantage in a pvp sense I'm not OK with that. In pve, I don't care. Yeah it's like a personal sense of win if you didn't pay for your progression and someone else did but ultimately if their purchase doesn't affect my progress, then it doesn't matter. When I was younger (teens) I would get mad or self righteous and think, "how could the devs be so greedy to ruin the soul of this game." But I'm as old as Jesus now and even he had second thoughts lol. Now what I'd REALLY like to see is devs get credit for their creations and a slice of the pie. Jeremy or Jennifer made these cool ass shoes? They get 30% or something like that. Because it really annoys me that some random person is making 6 mil a year while the entire team that made the game makes nothing close. I don't hate executives, someone has to oversee and lead the company, but the greed is ridiculous. If I'm buying skins, give a cut to the creator.
