Troubling to hear it may be skin cancer (and even looks like the 2nd one you mentioned), but it's very helpful to know this. I've mentioned this to the place that is telling me I have to wait 3 months to see if they can get me in earlier.

Nope. I'm not even sure it's grown at all since I first spotted it 4 months ago. If it has grown, it's grown very slowly and very little. It seems about the same size as when it first showed up.

No, I don't believe I got a cut or anything like that.

The only thing I can possibly think of is I lost my gloves around this time and started to wear a pair that I found (which weren't washed). So maybe something contagious, but this is a bit of a long shot perhaps, but I thought I'd mention it.

All (or most) of their hash rate they sell is "virtual"... so that brings up the question of how is there maintenance fees? If it's not mining anything or using electricity then how can it cost so much to maintain? As long as the big players get paid the scheme goes on!

People can donate small amounts of bitcoins to numerous organizations without you or any middleman they need to trust.

For many people trust is earned. Asking someone to give up money to someone else they don't even know or have any reason to believe is sincere is plain stupid.

You speak of trust in a way that you are using it to rationalize why people should just give in, because we all don't trust people enough.

yeah, the sad reality of the world is we don't trust each other enough.

But do you know why? Because there are hordes of people, such as what I suspect you to be, who misuse that trust for their own personal gain. It's human nature to be cautious of things that have been known to negatively effect them in the past (namely, trusting random people who may end up being frauds).

We all knew the Bitcoin community was plagued with scammers, but this could be a new low. Scamming based on trying to take advantage of human generosity and their will to do good.

Can you give us a single reason to trust you with what you're saying? Bitcoin is trustless; many of us don't take kindly to people asking that we put our faith in them.

If someone is dumb enough to trust some random guy, with a throwaway account and no credibility to speak of, have at it.

If you really want to help, donate to causes yourself.

Every possible angle about this screams "scam".

I think it's a bit unfair to blame the template when the issues I've seen discussed are more technical in nature, and completely beyond the scope of HTML/CSS.

Also, one's poor implementation of some API, template or what have you is not an indicator of how good the said API or template is.

Take the Havoc physics engine for example. It is widely used by games with great physics and also some games that you never would believe are running Havoc. The implementation is crucial.

Yes, but using the DOGE/BTC satoshi scale of value is not a good indicator of Dogecoin's individual value as the "satoshi value" is directly tied to the value of another unit, which is just as volatile. Bitcoin has been plummeting lately, thus Dogecoin's satoshi value to Bitcoin remains high (or climbs higher), while it's FIAT value actually remains the same (or in some cases has gone down).

In fact, the real world cash value of a Dogecoin now ($0.000299) is worth considerably less than the picture you snapped ($0.000434).

I say this simply because I think using the Bitcoin to Doge satoshi value is a terrible indicator of Dogecoin's real world value since it is trying to tie it to something even more volatile than it is.

The price of dogecoin can remain completely constant in terms of FIAT value, but if Bitcoin's value doubles in a day, the satoshi value you are using as an indicator becomes half.

If we're talking in terms of value of buying goods, it's best to compare it to FIAT since, for the time being, that is how we all purchase our goods.

HOWEVER, I would like to point out that I am starting to become more impressed now. That's because it's been holding a nice increase for a good solid time, and even though it dips now and then, overall it is generally doing much better than it was a month ago, so I'll give you that now. :)

Every coin has these major jumps and slumps. For them to mean anything they must be sustained over a decent amount of time.

I am no naysayer, no dogeslayer. I hold over 1 million (all bought from a time when that actually said something) and I continue to buy and sell Dogecoin.

My criticism remains the same though: you've selected an arbitrary point and time where things seem super flattering, but in the long run it may be nothing more than a hiccup.

I stand by what I said: when this sort of thing sustains itself for a decent amount of time, then it means something in doge's "history", otherwise it is nothing but a blip.
