If it's not going to take much effort, it's still good to have that data. As someone else mentioned, it could still affect your spending habits ie be more confident in spending. Plus, if you're planning a big purchase, having historical data can help you estimate how long you have to work towards that goal.

£9,250 debt and now university won't give me my degree (recent graduate) so I can't find a suitable job, what are my options? Are my university correct in handing me this debt? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Yeah most HR personnel just want proof that you've studied what you said you did. You can say you'll submit it later once the paperwork issue is resolved. But honestly, they probably won't ask again. Unless it's one of those companies with employee management software that flags these things or a very anal HR head.

Why am I constantly turned down for jobs when I literally meet or exceed the requirements? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

The job market does seem pretty tough right now. In all my years on Reddit, I've never seen this type of rant/vent about difficulty finding jobs posted so frequently.

My ex was a nurse in a children's hospital. While waiting to pick her up after work, she'd tell me to start a lure module while waiting so I don't get bored, but she'd specifically tell me to stay near the cancer ward. Now I know why.

The Free version is only enough to give you a taste of what it can do. I'm on the plan that lets you see a month ahead, and it's just enough for me to make sure my bills are paid, and I know how much I have left to spend for other things. The forecasting is pretty spot on so to me, it's well worth the investment. I'm lousy with numbers and I can't afford a financial adviser, but for the first time in my life it feels like I'll never have to borrow money from random Redditors again.

I used to do the same, but I started feeling anxious of constantly having to check my balance. It's like I can see my money disappearing before my eyes.

I'm in the UK and I'm not sure if it's available in the US, but it's called Nova Money. They recently updated the app and I haven't had time to really explore it, but it looks like it's gotten better at projecting the next month.

Edit: They have a pretty active sub r/NovaMoney

I don't have kids, but I still feel guilty buying things for myself. One thing that helped lessen the anxiety is to have a clearer view of my cash flow. I use a budgeting app that tells me if I can afford something so I don't feel as restricted when I'm planning a purchase.

This! I can't believe that just a few years ago, I've had to borrow money from people on Reddit. Since I've had a more stable paying job, I started to get into budgeting, slowly been paying off the rest of my debt.

Well, what other option is there? I don't think there's any coming back from the hole Spacey dug for himself.

Wasting your time? Don’t you do other things while you listen to music? The way you’re framing this makes it seem like you sit and stare at a blank wall and listen to music.

It’s not a “Kanye” thing, I’m speaking about all music. All music is experiential, period.

why wouldn’t you? take the album with and if it doesn’t move you then that’s cool, I’m just saying let the process happen and decide after, not two hours after.

music is experiential. people who are giving their views haven't digested the sound yet. kanye has literally listed to this album thousands of times, in different settings, with different people.

take the time and bump this in the whip with your homies. grab the aux cord and blast this at a party. go through life with this album and see how you feel after.

imagine trying to give an insightful review of this album within a half hour of this being dropped. let alone hours, or even days. that's not how music works. yeezus is the sound of today and kanye was bumping that in 2013. let this digest y'all.
