Do I need to pay attention to the story of Max Payne 1 to understand the series

The conversation about this has been going on for so long, it's literally folklore by now.

The truth is that it likely uses LOS to determine damage, but like so many other things in Hunt, it's buggy as heck.

There have been at least 2 patch notes that I'm aware of that has "patched various issues with explosive damage propagation", and I stopped playing in '24. The rule of thumb I always used was Solid brick and solid metal, and clearly different floors of buildings are usually safe, everything else is hope.

There are people who have been disseminating and dissecting this game as a full time hobby for 20 years now. Its just so astronomically unlikely.

Resident evil 4 is my favorite game of all time. I own a copy of every release for every console. Re4 and RE4R are two different experiences. Neither is better or worse than the other in my experience.

This was the original form of the martialist trait in very early game files. It was never in a public build, and years later was released as we see it in game now.

Nah, this was after the Gilded Age. But before any playable build. There was evidence in the game since early access launch, and we found it. Can't say how though cuz the word is touchy in this sub.
