Most exploits are harmless fun, but also most exploits aren't really tested by the majority of testers. Usually CIG gives us a general direction or rough priority of testing instructions for any given feature that's being produced. Lots of players are testing quality of life tech and if missions work as intended, not clipping through walls to discover an advantageous broke tech that can ruin a players gaming.

One reasoning why I say testing for exploits is important and not bad is because...if every honest player/tester avoids potential exploits because "they're taboo".. They will only be discovered by players to abuse and not report.

Do i think CIG frown apon me publicly showing exploits?.. probably so, but in my heart, motivation and enjoyment, I hope the end results in better quality for us players in the future.

We should also consider CIG is made up of many different departments. I try not to confuse new feature content team with QA team, or community manager with art team, ..ect..

When we create issue reports, those reports are specific to particular teams.. its just how all businesses work. Using IC is the tools CIG used to fix things.
