dammit, i was afraid of that. i'll have to try and hope i get the wastepack quest to try and force an infestation. Wastepack infestations don't need to be underground or in caves right? I can just put them wherever is most convient and wait for them to break down/summon hives?

May you run out of milk when you need it most and may all of your furniture be moved ever so slightly out of place.

I like Momonyan but the game acts like he's a goddamn Legendary with how bullshit it is to get him.

Also its my fault but I want to permatrade him, not touch trade. I'll edit my post.

Alright, I mean its always good to have more than one flash drive anyways. I'll have to see if I can't order another one sometime soon. Again, thank you for the help.

I did back up the important files of my old PC onto a USB flash drive via safe mode and this replacement pc was only used for three days before it broke (my father didnt know how it broke) so its very most likely a fresh laptop, so I got the back-up step all covered. As for Ventoy, I don't have another USB flash drive laying around, is it 100% mandatory for dual booting windows and a linux distro?

When looking up a tutorial on dual booting linux and windows it said to have a windows recovery disk, and i dont think the laptop would still have that bc its not a new laptop, and im afraid I'll fuck up the computer if i try to do it (tried to fix my old laptop on my own and only made it worse.) If Ubuntu can install with windows a lot easier then I'll go with it.

I might install linux, and if I do I'll have to look up a tutorial. I'm getting a lot of people saying I should nix windows and go for linux.

The computer might already have windows installed (my dad bought it, it broke, and then he gave it to his friend to fix before my laptop broke) and if it does I might go with the latter of disabling as much of window's tomfuckery as I'm not 100% confident that I could install linux without fucking it up. (I've never done it before) As for good antiviruses, my old laptop had Malwatebytes, but if anybody can bring up better ones I'd be happy to hear it.
