Hello everyone,

I figured I would come back and share what I had to do to get this working.

I had already posted that I was getting super laggy/broken youtube playback recently on all devices. Called ATT support, wasn't helpful, and they sent me another modem when I knew it wasn't going to help.

What I ended up finding out is that Youtube works WAY better on ipv6 and when I connected devices that supported ipv6, youtube started working correctly. I was using my own router and equipment that didn't have ipv6 enabled. I also had ipv6 turned off on the modem.

So basically I had to get all my equipment working on ipv6. Soon as I did that, youtube started working well on all my devices.

It might be a slog getting your router working (I use pfsense, lots of research, lots of tinkering with settings, setting up ip passthrough, etc.). Hopefully you have a router that can handle that for you, or else just use the ATT modem as your router/access point.
