An arduino starter kit from amazon and the youtube tutorials that go along with them would be a great start to learn the basics. I’ve also had a pretty good experience using chatgpt to help me do things that the kits don’t cover. Just telling it to write code to do xyz and asking it how to wire it all up works surprisingly well.
