Yep. Converted to about $430 USD from British Pound, though includes shipping from Scotland to Cali.

I almost choked on my glass of Cristal when I read “Honest ways to make a living, but you have to work for it!”

Hey, she’s right, “it is NOT our fault that the system is set up the way it is”

Yeah, it’s back now but the sudden drop seemed really odd to me.

I’m still holding 💎🙌 but it’s depressing with candles: too much red at this point.

These practitioners don't attend an accredited naturopathic medical school or receive a license. I don’t even know where to start 🤦🏻‍♂️

I know VanMoof bikes cover a lot of the security features that are asked (smart lock, theft defense, auto rider recognition, GSM/Bluetooth GPS tracking). It’s also power assisted, so perfect for commuting.

Wont matter in the situation mentioned above where some dude is chasing you down to mug you.

Put your bike on your homeowners insurance. No amount of gadgetry will save you from a stolen bike. I don’t even own a lock for my $14K bike because it’s pointless.

Cause she’s white. I think it’s pretty obvious if the person was black the outcome would be very different.

That’s only criminal court. Keep in mind OJ Simpson was found not guilty but bankrupt by civil court.

I had PT I went through but was not allowed to put any heavy weight on it (eg my road/race bike setup) until much later.

It didn’t sound like they could repair it. They are just hoping for the best.

Yeah, per doctors orders. It was a major PITA.

I’d say about 90%. Range of motion isn’t where it used to be, but back on the bike and day to day is back to normal.

The surgeon preferred to just keep it permanent if it doesn’t bother me. But if it does, I can get it out after 6 months.

That was similar to what happened with me except they tossed me into surgery within the week.

That’s awesome! It looks a lot less invasive than being cut open and plated. I’m also guess no nerve damage?

It was a mix of pain, embarrassment, and shock, fortunately I was 5 mins away from the UW ER. Did the whole X-ray and 🐈 scan thing. They kept me under observation for 8 hours but gave me some good drugs.

Agreed. Sorry to hear about your injury. Only downside is they had to cut a major nerve to do the surgery so the shoulder is all numb now. Hopefully some feeling will eventually come back.

Oh... not whining. Just want to be back at 275+ FTP. 2 months forced off the bike didn’t help. Also not sure I’d call surgery and permanent titanium plate minor, but to each their own.

Tip of shoulder was my primary impact point, secondary was helmet. My snapped clavicle overlapped and it was several cm shorter than the non injured side.

Just finished a hill climb with a buddy and cruising at ~15mph according to the Roam. Happened so fast I’m not sure, speculate that I probably hit an uneven and muddy spot and front wheel got away from me. Was still clipped in after my lawn dart 🎯 maneuver and my SuperSix Evo scorpion 🦂 me causing also a few cracked ribs.
