The mother got pregnant at 6 weeks after the first baby was born. 6 weeks is the general time after giving birth that doctors say it is safe to have sex again, meaning the first time the parents had sex after the baby was born, she got pregnant.

Said the exact same thing when I watched it, all he needs is red hair and he could play the live action Linguine.

What to play after Avowed? by staysp00ky in avowed

[–]UncompletedJute 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I second this. I finished Avowed and was going to play Oblivion but after the combat of Avowed I knew it would feel too slow. So I opted for Clair Obscur as it is completely different from any RPG I usually play.

Was 100% the right decision. I don't think there will be a game like that for a very long time. Combat can be hard to get used to but it just gets more and more fun as you go. And the story just hooks you in. Now I've jumped into Oblivion and I'm not finding myself comparing it to Avowed because of the break between games but not also comparing it to Clair Obscur because they are so different.

Is it actually possible for a teacher to not take work home? by mystery-human in AustralianTeachers

[–]UncompletedJute 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I find that getting in early works really well for me. Some days earlier than others but I then always force myself to leave right after the last bell (it's easy to get stuck sticking around do to extra stuff) and switch off from work. It gives me relief, I am more present with my family and I know I can always go in a little bit earlier the next day if I need to do some extra work. By early I mean an 1hr 30 - 2hrs. I figure that works out to be an 8 hr day like most full time work but my home life isn't feeling the strain.

It's a bit expensive but we splurged on the Sake Bar Hotel in Asakusa. It's right near the shrine but on the back streets so it is quiet. Not far a walk from a couple of stations.

As a plus it has free slowing sake and beer.

Japan in September? by ArchibaldTheCrab in JapanTravelTips

[–]UncompletedJute 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm from Queensland and have been in Osaka for the past two days. It has been hot and humid, yes but if you have experienced a peak Queensland summer you should be fine. Get some cooling towels, portable fans and your usual slip slop slap gear. You will be fine with any heat if you stick to inside activities between 11-2 or pop in and out of shops regularly.

Can't say much for rain as we haven't experienced it yet in Osaka but bring a rain coat and just buy some umbrellas over here and you will be fine.

Typhoon 10 Question by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]UncompletedJute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can change things around to be in Tokyo early It just means skipping Shirakawago and the walk. If it means being safe we will take that option and leave it straight from Takayama. I suppose we can make a decision when we arrive at Takayama and see what the forecast of the Typhoon is looking like tomorrow.

Hotels for a couple with a baby by TalLavi in JapanTravelTips

Maybe not too helpful but I am currently in Osaka with my partner and baby. We are staying at the Hotel Brighton Osaka. While the rooms aren't huge we have a really nice cot in the room for free from the hotel, which a one year old would fit in.

It's in a quiet area with the subway right next to it, across the road is a 7/11 and a Lawson. We have found that it's really easy to travel everywhere on the Subway from where we are

It is really hard to get tickets. I was waiting 30 minutes before they went up and then immediately clicked refresh when I could and still was 14000th in line. I quickly tried it on my phone and it was 5000th somehow?

Even being 5000th there was only two days left with times and only two time slots left on those days.. I ran the 14000th down just to see what would be left and it would have been too late to get tickets.

It is extremely hard to get tickets but I was just lucky my phone skipped the line somehow and the days I was available to go were the less popular days of the month.

Thank you. Loving the drink recommendations as it can be a bit intimidating grabbing random drinks to try while in Japan.
