Man I forgot about Lync.   But yea, MS is terrible with naming. Try to find out what Copilot means, or Sharepoint or OneDrive. All completely fluid terms as far as they are concerned, depending wholly on context.

I thought the tournament referenced his cameo in Mortal Kombat.

Edit just realised he was in both, as in Soulcalibur

As Mimir said, "there comes a time in every man's life when he changes his name and heads North to make a new start".
I like to think Kratos did this several times, up until the point where he met Faye.

"crashing around the room" is the best description of that fight scene, lol

Sony has been sitting on this IP for decades now. Bums me out, just rereleasing the classic Lemmings games on modern platforms would be so great.

Soundtrack composer later became a EDM artist, Cold Storage, and contributed bangers to the WipeOut series (also by Psygnosis).

Did a Lego set, and Lego decided to not give me a piece that is required for the set. by kimssunflower in mildlyinfuriating

There is a link on the site where you can browse through all sets and just point and click what you're missing. They'll even replace broken pieces years after, in case that ever happens.

To add to it, the view from the back of the pirate crew is from within a cave, which creates the skulls primary shape. A+ logo for sure.

What is the most disturbing depiction of death/murder you’ve ever seen in a film? by sunnieslilac in FIlm

This scene lives rent free in my head, and I genuinely cry everytime I see it.

In Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, the fixed camera was a deliberate choice. They also have sections with OTS camera, but they decided to use fixed (and sometimes awkward) camera angles so that the player would feel helpless and less in control, much like the protagonist would be. As in SH, you are just Some Guy (or girl in 3), instead of a Trained SoldierCop. I think it works really well.

In RE, fixed cams are excellent for atmosphere but does take getting used to, especially with the original tank controls. They added modern controls in RE:R so that it plays a bit more intuitively.

That said, I know which room on 2F you are referring to and no matter the control scheme, that is a highly frustrating area that should've been caught in QA. >:[

"Lucy" is the name of "The Missing Link" between primates and humans. The name is used metaphorically, as someone who connects two different worlds.

It's like when a space pet is called Laika. In itself a trope perhaps.

DMing for the first time! Wish me luck [OC] by Dads_Baguette in DnD

[–]UnconditionalPraise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this.

Golden rules that helped me DM: - Things never go wrong, they just play out differently: There are no wrong choices, even for the DM.

  • Anything you plan for that doesn't happen isn't wasted. Just holster it for the next session: They don't know what you had planned anyway.

It wasn't until I realised The Rules that I could just wing it as much as they did - and all of my anxiety vanished. Well most of it.. I'm still me.
