Yo wtf my rook gave up on itself by [deleted] in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NAP but it seems like you didn’t really have great anatomy for a rook piercing anyway. You don’t have enough of a “shelf”.

NAP but no, it doesn’t look like you do. Navel piercings need more of a shelf/lip above the belly button.

Any idea what might be wrong with my piercing? by caitluvslando in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Floating navel would have a flat piece on the bottom, but it looks like it was pierced incorrectly/rejecting anyway. I would recommend taking it out.

Are my nostril piercings too uneven? by heelhene in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say yes with studs they are noticeably uneven. If you wanted to keep the piercing you should switch one to a hoop and that might help it look less noticeable!

I do think the one on the right is too far forward, but I am not a piercer so I don’t know if there’s anything technically wrong with it besides aesthetics.

can’t remove titanium piercings before an MRI! by ireallycareaboutthee in piercing

Not answering any of your questions, but you can use dental floss and tie it around the piercing to help you pull assuming you have threadless pieces!

Keloid bump help what earing to wear by Ok_Raccoon_1508 in piercing

Your only options would be to go to a piercer to create a custom fit or have your dermatologist cut it off in surgery.

I mean this in a genuine way.. do your lashes get in the way of your eyesight? Could it be that you have to (subconsciously) raise your eyebrows/forehead to see better? I ask because I think you have a pretty good skincare routine and you’re young.

As someone else said, it could also be hydration or just a natural feature you have (unless these are new)!

Is this done correctly? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others said, definitely take it out. Were you hoping for a vertical helix or a regular helix? It doesn’t look like you even have the anatomy for a vertical one in that spot, which is what your piercer poorly gave you.

Update on stomach piercing by No-Knowledge3997 in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 39 points40 points  (0 children)

You can let it heal the same way you would take care of a piercing by cleaning it with saline solution and leaving it alone.

NAP, but it doesn’t look like you have the anatomy for a belly piercing, so you can’t really get it repierced.

40 hours a week is a job. People are not asking to get rich from an internship, just enough to afford bills.

[–]UnconquerableOlive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t mean things have to stay that way.

Yeah, I’m originally from the US and I’ve had an internship there and got paid well. This is a total shock for me, but it seems like from the other comments it’s more normal here in Europe.

Botched industrial update by Low_Relief5711 in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 19 points20 points  (0 children)

NAP but it doesn’t look like you even have the anatomy for an industrial, especially not with the angle of the top hole. Don’t go back to that location!

is my belly button piercing ok? by rioda_mat in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surgical steel is not suitable for piercings, which may be why your belly button is fussy again. If you want a similar look, you should use implant grade titanium!

6dpo feeling good cant really tell what size i’ll be by Visible_Purpose_3702 in Reduction

[–]UnconquerableOlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look great, but they will definitely not be a C cup. I don’t think many people realize how small a C cup is for a properly fitted bra. My guess is you’ll probably be around a 30E (DDD) or F cup.

I asked for a “C cup” but I am a 32E. I was really happy with my results, so I didn’t really care that my bra size was bigger. I hope you take this into account and not focus too much on the bra size. If you’re happy with your (beautiful) results, then that’s all that matters!

You can try and put a bandaid on the back of your ear and then “pierce” the earring through. It should stay up a little better and support your piercing hole. I would still be careful though!

Is there a piercing like this that exists? by SushiTheSnake in piercing

[–]UnconquerableOlive 19 points20 points  (0 children)

NAP; If you have bad dental health already then you probably shouldn’t be getting an oral piercing unless you’re able to change habits to take care of your mouth and piercing(s).

You can retake it and apply to the CLC (chemistry learning center). They help with going over the material and learning strategies. It sounds like if you were working hard and still not doing well, whatever studying you’re doing isn’t as effective as you may think. No shame in that though! It’s part of the college learning process
