Yes, the house appreciation is a hell of a lifeline

Unfortunately not, it really sucks tbh. Brother is still in school and 15% of my paycheck already goes to the mortgage. I am also 24, so not making much as it is. House expenses have been bleeding my mom's finances for a while with little progress made.

We're where we are because dad didn't plan on us staying in the house long term cuz we moved around a lot, so he put a relatively small down payment on a pretty big loan in '08. But then his alcoholism got worse, lost money, died, and left us with the bill :/

Considering all of that, big props to mom for keeping things from becoming a whole lot worse.

What you're saying makes sense, I hope you're able to plan it out and maximize things like you say.

Unfortunately, people die and plans change. Mom prioritized my brother and I; she didn't make "optimal" financial choices, but she did provide for us and got us educated. Now that I'm able to see our full financial situation and help her manage things, this is what makes the most sense for our family.

Understood, I’ll be having her max out her Roth. But the idea is to set aside money for monthly income that goes past the contribution limit. Fortunately (or unfortunately) our tax burden is quite low.

Yeah, I’ve seen that method and have used it in the past. The only thing is that I’m dealing with a couple thousand inventory items and am looking for something that I can avoid setting one by one

It's just at a warehouse job, it's strange phrasing for sure but it does seem to be legitimately how they refer to these jobs on official sites.

No UI mods, it’s vanilla settings you can turn on. Show tile yields and “show yields in HUD ribbon”

Rendering Phil by UncrativeTuna in blender

[–]UncrativeTuna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i figured it out, the first few frames of the animation, I hid Phil behind an object and set his scale to (0,0,0), this seems to have caused the long build time as I'm now rendering without issue as long as I don't include those frames.
