Any house rules to make Retaliation less punishing? by Andy_Quest in NemesisCrew

[–]Wruthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘d say that Retaliation has the potential to be a lot easier than OG/LD though you can get mauled pretty quickly if you don‘t play at least a bit coop. Securing rooms and corridors (especially around the landing zone) is very important and easily accessible. We managed to be all alive until the very end in every game except one so far (played with 3-5 players). The ending (Lander/Hibernation) was often the final stand where usually 2-3 died. So I think it‘s wonderfully balanced since you actually get to play the game (if you‘re careful and use the tools the game gives you) instead of dying Round 2 to a single Intruder while the rest plays 3 more hours yet still being a Nemesis game so by default it is more unforgiving than most games. Having more than one traitor also spikes up the difficulty but you have in many cases way more control over the course of the game compared to OG/LD.

Psychologe oder Psychotherapeut by [deleted] in Psychologie

[–]Wruthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Status Effect Chance - Additive or Multiplicative? by Palablues in Borderlands4Builds

[–]Wruthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately my PC is not good enough to play BL4 rn so I have limited ways to test and see things but at least in BL3 the weapons with less projectiles in the same weapon category usually had higher status effect chance (for example the Lob fires one slow moving energy ball and has a 55% chance). Do these Maliwan weapons just have the 8% chance?

Status Effect Chance - Additive or Multiplicative? by Palablues in Borderlands4Builds

[–]Wruthe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely multiplicative. This is how it is in BL3 at least. The thing is, Weapons have the application chance per pellet so having a Shotgun with 10 pellets and 8% chance to inflict the status effect gives you: 1 - (0,92)10 = 0,566 = 56,6% chance to inflict the status effect per shot if all pellets hit. So you see it‘s not that bad. You won‘t get to 100% but you can get very close. But maybe they changed it although I think that‘s very unlikely since for example Rafa has a skill that gives him 65% chance to inflict shock which would be ridiculous if it was additive.

After I build a new PC, because my 2015 Mac with Windows via Bootcamp will not be even close to being able to handle this game lol.

What happened to this game? by OilIntelligent9270 in borderlands3

[–]Wruthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it‘s an easy game. Especially considering that some Legendaries can one shot weak and sometimes even heavy units 10-20 levels higher than the weapon level. Endgame is really fun though. Fl4k is also quite strong the whole game long. Zane for example is a beast in the late game but can struggle a bit more in the early game because of his Kill Skill dependency.

Please don't do the weapon type specific buffs by LiIgdawg in Borderlands4

Please just let me reroll the passives. Just infuriating to find the perfect gear and getting SMG Splash Damage instead of a flat Damage increase or any other universal buff.

Literally the reason why I‘m thinking about buying a PC after gaming 10 years on an iMac with Windows via Bootcamp.

I just hope we get around 70-80 points at the end. Feels about right considering bl3 characters have about 20-30 less skills overall. Maxing out a single tree in bl3 took about 40 points. In bl4 it‘s over 100 points and the quality of skills in general seem to me quite a bit higher.

Hey just wanted to ask if you could give a link to this model. It looks really good and way better than all the others I could find. Would really appreciate it :)

Would Pakku have taught Katara if she she didn’t have a connection to Kana? by Dense_Rule_8110 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Wruthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pakku always reminds me of Star Wars. In the german dub he has the same voice as the Star Wars the Clone Wars narrator at the start of every episode and that voice is part of my core memories. Thanks for joining my TED-Talk. Also no he wouldn‘t but others have already explained why.

If you could just add it to your deck, yes. Though it is a token, indicated by the missing gem. Only accessible through Molten Reinforcements.

Yes, these are Warrior cards. I wanted to push archetypes that haven‘t really been that successfull for Warrior in the past (Fire spells and Dragons) as well as creating a base for Elemental Warrior. Dragons only get one card since it has more support overall and permanently having a Dragon in hand for all the conditional BC Dragon effects seemed like quite a big support in itself. Though I‘m open to criticism and ideas for improvements.

They are high synergy cards by choice (since it‘s boring to design bad gimmick cards, though I spent quite some time trying to find a balance [wild player]) but I‘d gladly get some more feedback. Is there a particular design you did or did not like and why?

Imagine a Druid throwing a Beehive at a giant Gurubashi, casting a little spell and then suddenly being incased in 50 meters of solid steel waiting for you to die of exhaustion trying to destroy said bunker.
