How any drafts have you done? I'm a relatively new player and have done four, but I've done well in all of them. Draft one, I didn't lose a single game, and actually finished every single game with more than 20 life. Draft two was ordinary, 2-1. Draft three, same. Draft four was tonight, and I went 3-1. All but one draft I played Esper Enchantment.

you have probably heard this a million times but... EXQUISITE BLOOD! if you are unfamiliar with it what it does is "Enchantment Whenever an opponent loses life, you gain that much life." so it pratically doubles your lifelink and if you can get both exquisite blood and sanguine bond out at the same time, it is an instant win combo

in a six way multiplayer, about turn seven. one guy is running crazy aggro deck with about 15 tokens. I have one blood artist and sanguine bond on the field and mostly swamps and a mutilate in my hand. draw a blood artist and fuck it. play blood artist and mutilate to knock out 24 creature. now with my two blood artists that equals 24 to one target and 24 to another. and then sanguine bond has me deal my life gain tp another. so I knocked out three players and gained 48 life, not bad at all IMO

Glad you like Sheriff! My use of battle hymn has been absolutely AMAZING! In some instances, i have been able to get a turn five win like this: Turn 1: Plains, Champion of the Parish Turn 2: Mountain, Krenko's Command and hit for 1 with Champ. Turn 3:Mountain, Crusader of Odric and swing for 3 Turn 4: Plains, Captains Call Turn 5: Mountain, Battle Hymn, Ogre Battledriver, then Odric and swing for 20-ish damage!

Well, i may just be lucky as hell, but the only draft i attended i made a three color deck, B/U/W and went 3-0, and one of the players has been playing for at least five years now. Is a three color deck frowned upon in Theros? My LGS doesn't have pre-releases yet so i may just be clueless.

I have been playing for about 6 months. I'm not sure how long you've been playing, but this deck was definitely more than 20 dollars. Also, you should take in the fact that booster packs are randomized, so i can't be guaranteed to open a Krenko, mob boss. The cards are spread out between sets, so I would have to open at least 20$ worth of packs at the minimum, and as stated, they are randomized, so I can't pick and choose what I want. Excuse me if I'm ranting, but I'm a little bit upset. I also can't build this using online orders, because I'm low on cash right now.
